I am rejecting this response because: It is an absolute LIE that I did not cooperate with the police officersI've asked on multiple occasions that the cameras in the venue should be reviewed as I did INDEED cooperate with the officers and no matter shutting down speakers and testing different levels of the music, neither option was satisfactory to the officersTo the point that there were no more speakers left to turn off and the officers simply said to shut it downIt is a lie that the officers had to come back as again everything was handled in their first tripAs [redacted] has referenced the condition in the contract regarding the loud music: I feel that I didn't even have a chance to adjust the music levelThe officers were rude and no adjustment of music level was going to satisfy them Morgan Golf Club and [redacted] Pulley can continue to claim that they didn't do anything wrong and have no control over what happened but I will continue to claim that the venue is not able to HOST a band, no matter how many weddings they do a year and my event was ruined [redacted] can also claim that they've only had a couple instances when police officers have shown up at this venue but according to the police officers, they come out often due to the roof of the venue being a tarp material and the music travels around the residence area Again, I am not asking for a full refundI want some sort of compassion and compensation from this golf club for the embarrassment of the event being shut down and the party ruinedWe paid a lot of money for this event and expect the venue to carry the responsibility of making sure it can handle a band playing musicThe SAME responsibility goes for weatherJust as [redacted] is stating that they can't control what the police officers demand, if bad weather/rain caused the tarp to leak and the party was affected that way, would there still be no compensation for the party being ruined by weather, can you [redacted] control if weather had ruined the party? It is the same thing

To start, we would like to apologize again that any experience had with an event here at the golf course resulted negativelyWe work extremely hard to ensure thatall aspects of an event thrown here are successfulWith that being said, we do feel that we need
to address some of the accusations made in the complaint for the event held on July 3rd, We are a full service event center and wedding venueWe host around 50-60 weddings per year, as well as other events totaling in somewhere around events per year, most all of which have some sort of DJ or live bandThe current ownership has been in place for approximately six years, and in those six years this was the first and only event to have had the music shut down by the police. The 2-instances that are being referred to in the complaint were not explained as instances when an event or music was shut down, but rather ***es in which the police have come out for a noise complaint, all of which were resolved by the band or DJ turning down their music and the party being able to carry on until its scheduled end.On site the night of the event was our banquet captain, who has been with the company over years and works just about every event that takes place at the golf clubBefore asking that the music be turned off, the officers gave at least opportunities to the band and the event host to turn the music down and explained that as soon as that was done, they would leave and the party would carry onThe band did not turn the music down to a reasonable level for the officers to leave, which eventually led to the officers asking the music to be turned off. No citation was given for disturbing the peace. The entire situation could have been resolved and the celebration could have continued, had the client and the band been willing to cooperate with the police officers in turning the music downOnce the police arrive, we require full cooperation. With all events that take place at the golf club, we have an agreement that is signed by the clients (I have attached the signed agreement for this event)In the agreement, the following excerpt is stated: " SOUND LEVELS: In an effort to accommodate all groups and guests on property, Morgan Creek Golf Club and Event Center reserves the right to control sound levels in all function spaces at any ***e." There was no discussion prior to the event with the client regarding sound levels, because as stated above, we hold a number of celebrations here every weekend with both DJ's and live bands and do not run into issueThe music being played on July 3rd was exceptionally loud, even in comparison to the proms, weddings, and celebrations hosted here on a regular basisThe clients parents also visited the venue before the event took place, so it being a tented pavilion was not a surprise. We again apologize that the event did not turn out as intended, however do not feel that we are responsible for the lack of cooperation between the client and the policeofficersIf you have any further questions or would like to discuss the matter any further, please give me a call at ###-###-####. I am rejecting this response because:
It is an absolute LIE that I did not cooperate with the police officers. I've asked on multiple occasions that the cameras in the venue should be reviewed as I did INDEED cooperate with the officers and no matter shutting down speakers and testing different levels of the music, neither option was satisfactory to the officers. To the point that there were no more speakers left to turn off and the officers simply said to shut it down. It is a lie that the officers had to come back as again everything was handled in their first trip. As [redacted] has referenced the condition in the contract regarding the loud music: I feel that I didn't even have a chance to adjust the music level. The officers were rude and no adjustment of music level was going to satisfy them.
Morgan Golf Club and [redacted] Pulley can continue to claim that they didn't do anything wrong and have no control over what happened but I will continue to claim that the venue is not able to HOST a band, no matter how many weddings they do a year and my event was ruined. [redacted] can also claim that they've only had a couple instances when police officers have shown up at this venue but according to the police officers, they come out often due to the roof of the venue being a tarp material and the music travels around the residence area.
Again, I am not asking for a full refund. I want some sort of compassion and compensation from this golf club for the embarrassment  of the event being shut down and the party ruined. We paid a lot of money for this event and expect the venue to carry the responsibility of making sure it can handle a band playing music. The SAME responsibility goes for weather. Just as [redacted] is stating that they can't control what the police officers demand, if bad weather/rain caused the tarp to leak and the party was affected that way, would there still be no compensation for the party being ruined by weather, can you [redacted] control if weather had ruined the party? It is the same thing.

Review: We decided to have my brother's Masters grad party at this venue. I had several discussions with [redacted], Events Manager, regarding the party details etc. One of the details we discussed was the fact that there would be a four man band playing this party. Nothing was ever said after that regarding the band, how many speakers, nothing was asked by [redacted] about the details. My family invited over 130 people for this grand event and unfortunately took a horrible turn around 10:30pm on July 3rd, 2015 We had finished enjoying dinner/dessert and the party was just starting with music and dancing when suddenly I was asked to go to the back of the venue to face the officers as they arrived with a music complaint from the residents that live in the club. An important note to mention is that we were left with a head waiter as our party host, not a manager but a head waiter that couldn't do anything but tell me that I had to deal with the officers directly.I spoke with the officers and tried explaining that we weren't doing anything wrong but they were extremely rude and didn't want to sympathize with us at all. We even tried shutting down speakers to try different sound levels but again, the officers simply told us to "SHUT IT DOWN" Our party with 130 guests was shut down of music and the rest of the night by band singer sung solo with no tunes, nothing, just to keep the mood alive. We were clearly devastated and embarrassed by all this.My complaint against Morgan Creek and their Management is that their venue is not equipped for parties with bands. I tried talking about a partial refund with [redacted] the GM but instead he was as rude as the officers and threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay my bill in full. I feel they're responsible due to how the venue is constructed and should have explained that with a Roof made out of a tent material, that clearly the music might be an issue. Both [redacted] and [redacted] both admitted to me that 2-3 parties from the past had been shut down due to music sound.Desired Settlement: Our party was cut short and the embarrassment in front of our family and friends is unacceptable. This venue is not equipped to have parties with bands and future guests should be warned of this versus just booking the party and letting this happen yet again.I'm requesting a partial refund of $2,500.00I paid $6,000 to Morgan Creek and $2,500 for the band that played for one hour. This party exceeded $10,000.00 with other expenses but I believe a fair adjustment/refund is $2,500.
