To whom it may concern, Yes, they do have a valid complaint to a point, I did respond to the concern of shingles sliding out and I did repair them, and the other concern was the lattice that had came off, with these plastic lattice we tried using an alternative method using pvc tubing for the frame work, it didn't work the way it was intended, the wind was to much for it to stay secured, I have had no desire not to come back and address the other concerns, I have been extremely busy and tied up on a remodel that's in its third month, I have no problem coming out and repairing the areas they have concern with, this would only cost me roughly $there is no way that I can agree to refunding half, as far as the interior damage I can look at it and see if it is caused by a leak that hasn't been addressed in a timely manner, and if so I can repair this alsoI have no issues with this customer they are just trying to get me to fix the problems listedJesse M***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.** I have not heard or talked with MrM*** since this complaint has been filedHow ever I have had other well established roofing companies come out and give me written estimates on any and all repairs that still needs to be addressedAnd the estimates for repairs are ranging from $to $with possible overages due to can't see under shingles completely for any other damages that may lie underneathI have absolutely no roof decking coming down to meet my gutters boardsAnd MrM*** replaced my guttersAnd it is leaving a large gap which is causing the leaks into my home based on my estimates that I have receivedAnd there is also NO ICE SHIELD under my shingles, which I was told is a building code that has been in place since for those houses north of the Ohio riverAnd my roof over my kitchen has holes thru some of the boards and you can see that there is felt on one side but not the otherI DO NOT wish to have MrM*** repair these damages based on what's already been damagedNor do I feel that I should have to wait on repairs based on the fact that he is tied up with a NEW projectThank you for time in this matter

for the frame work, it didn't work the way it was intended, the wind was to much for it to stay secured, I have had no desire not to come back and address the other concerns, I have been extremely busy and tied up on a remodel that's in its third month, I have no problem coming out and repairing the areas they have concern with, this would only cost me roughly $400.00 there is no way that I can agree to refunding half, as far as the interior damage I can look at it and see if it is caused by a leak that hasn't been addressed in a timely manner, and if so I can repair this also. I agree that they should not have had to wait for me to get there, but it has far more to do with than just working on another job, I've tried to make the times we set and things happened to get in the way.  The box gutters were removed and new wood was installed, not all roof decking meets the fascia board, whether it's a new home or old home, that is the purpose in gutter flashings. Ice guard is recommended for low slope roofing and where ice can build up, this is a very steep pitched roof design and should not require ice guard, I have seen nor heard anything that say's this is a new code, as I said before I can repair what's needed for around $400.00, I understand they don't want me to come back, and I'm sorry they lost their confidence in me, however my offer to repair is still there. I understand that they have had other companies out, but I too can go to other jobs contractors have done and tear their work apart. I've had an A+ rating for 10 years because I do stand behind what I've done and if there is a problem I fix it. Jesse M[redacted]
