I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
As I had stated before The one and ONLY notice of discontinuation of service was sent and received the same day they were coming to pick up our 'empty bin' at NO TIME prior to this date had we received notification that they would no longer be able to provide service to our area or that the last pick up was 'on them'Until we received the notice we were clueless that any service would be stopped etc And Yes I quickly deposited the check in our account because I needed to be able to provide payment for our new refuse service as well as paying for the other bags of garbage sitting on our lawnNeedless to say the $dollars barely covered half of what we had to payWhen I called to talk to someone from Morgan's the woman was extremely apologetic that we had not received the notice prior to cancelling the service and she also admitted that she had received several of the same phonecalls, but I could rest assured that they would still pick up the garbage but they would unfortunately be taking the bin with them as wellI wouldn't be upset or put out had the notice been sent out prior to November 5th, and if the events actually unfolded the way this business owner would like you to believe there would be NO reason what so ever for my frustration AND I wouldn't have incurred any extra cost to have my garbage removed because I would have had plenty of time to take care of setting up a new service etc I understand mistakes are made and sometimes things get missed; it was clear that was the case with the cancellation letters; and their receptionist/office personnel did not deny that at any point in our conversation, she was very aware that costumers had not received any notice prior and wanted to make sure that we were not left with having to figure out what to do with the garbage on such short notice (literally hours notice of cancellation) which she knew and admitted was not fair and again assured me that we were not the only ones that had not received advanced notice BUT they would take care of the pick up since they had dropped the ballI am sorry the owner thinks that customers received prior notification, that simply is not the case and the fact that I had to pay additional money to take care of their mis-communication frustrates me yes, but more to it the $they 'refunded' didn't even cover half of what we had to pay in order to establish a new refuse piAND have the other garbage taken care ofI understand needing to discontinue service etc but not being able to acknowledge that things did not occur the way the business intended; and having someone in the company well aware that it affected and upset more than just me is just bad businessSometimes you have to go the extra mile when you don't do the job the right way to begin withSincerely, ***
