Review: Hello,I live in one of the apartment buildings managed by Morguard named The Georgian in New Orleans. Since November, the hot water pressure in my apartment has been significantly reduced. This makes showering, washing, shaving, and doing dishes very inconvenient. Over the past 4 months, management has had several maintenance people and plumbers examine the problem, but other than improvement for a week or so now and then, the problem remains.All management has done to alleviate this "inconvenience" is give me a key to a showroom on the 1st floor where I can go to bath; and to authorize a $100 refund for my APRIL rent. I am basically filing this complaint because I have been dealing with this problem for 4 MONTHS and do not feel that I have been compensated adequately for dealing with this issue so long.Desired Settlement: I would like a significant discount on my rental rate for the remainder of my lease, which is only 2 more months.

Review: I applied for an apartment at Alta at K Station in Chicago, IL. [redacted] was the leasing consultant that showed me the apartment. He told me verbally that I can apply for an apartment and I would be able to get ALL of my money back (application and administrative fees) if I e-mailed back within 24 hours.Since I was visiting from out of town, I didn't have my computer with me. I asked [redacted] if I could use their Business Center to fill out the application but he insisted I use his computer. I literally sat in his office and filled out the application MYSELF while [redacted] was in the other room talking with a co-worker.I read the policy agreement stating that both the application and administrative fee would be fully refundable if notified a cancellation within 72 hours (I notified within 24 hours). I e-mailed [redacted] twice and then had to call him. He told me he had to submit it to his company and that he would send the check to me. I had to follow up several weeks later and received only the $400 administrative fee. I e-mailed inquiring about the $50 application fee and [redacted] said that application fee is non-refundable if agent filled out application. I replied telling her that I filled out the complete application and she hasn't replied back within 5 business days.This is a very shady practice to get unknowing potential residents to sit in someone's office and fill out the application.Desired Settlement: I would like my $50 application fee back.
