We rented this cabin on the way to GeorgiaThe lady I talked to said it was the perfect cabin to rest and relax, and solitude That the drive in was up a mountain first, then down That we wouldn't need four wheel drive and that you could get there by carWrong! The dirt road was so heavily rutted and not scrapped Thank GOD, we drove a four wheel drive truckAnd still it was hard to get in and out, had it rained, would have been impossible.The cabin was fine once we got inBut the screened in room by the creek was unusable.It was covered in pollen and not cleaned since the early SpringThe solitude turned into being awakened by weed eaters everyday, our entire stayOne of the neighbors was always cutting weeds or pruning treesThe porch on the cabin couldn't be used because of the holes in the screen and all the bugs getting inWe did enjoy the fire ring and the creek

WOW! We just returned from Ross Creek Cabin outside of Elijay, thanks to Morning Breeze Cabin Rentals(MB)This home is a designer showplace in the perfect setting on private acres overlooking a gushing waterfall creekThe smell of wood burning came either from the outdoor stackstone fireplace in front of two rocking chairs off of the Living Room or the outdoor firepit next to the Hot Tub, of course MB supplied plenty of wood to burnIf that was not enough you could always, with the flick of a switch, turn on the gas log fireplace inside in the Living RoomThe home was sergically clean, the furnishings and cabin wood finishes were stunningThe bed was incredibly lush and I have slept on many Ritz-Carlton hotel beds over the yearsThe staff at Morning Breeze was gracious and friendly not to mention the overhead add on costs were reasonable (Pets are Free!)compared to other companiesWe are already planning a return trip next year through Morning Breeze! First Class All Around!

We spent a wonderful, relaxing week at Papa Bear Lodge Everything was clean and comfortable The setting was beautiful, and we loved the privacy and quiet We loved eating on the deck, morning coffee in the glider and feeding the birds

My wife and I rented the Misty Ridge mountain cabin near Ellijay for a week from Aug 21st through Aug 27th. At first all was well and my wife and I slept in the king size bed upstairs. Wednesday I laid down for a nap on top of the bed spread on the downstairs bed and after an hour arose feeling two insect bites. I initially thought I got them from outside but we had only gone from the truck to the cabin and back and nowhere else. I again sat on the same bed to read from a book later in the day and by the time I realized I was being bitten again I now had seven bites total. Later research proved them to be flea bites. We abandon the cabin two days before our rental was up and left Thursday morning to return home to Orlando. I'm still scratching and treating these bites as of today (Sunday Aug 28th). We've had to wash and clean everything we took with us to avoid importing these pests into our home.

Pretty terrible experience all in all.

My wife and l returned to peek a view for your 32nd anniversary this year, again very beautiful. This year the weather was sunny with no rain. We ventured out to do some antique shopping and mill around the quaint little town of Ellijey. Great experience. We will be back in 2017. Thanks again for the memories.
