In response to Revdex.com case #*** opened on 6/4/15:
*** *** purchased her Pontiac Torrent (Vin# ***) on 5/27/The vehicle was sold originally with miles and was 100% with no warrantyThis was
disclosed and signed off on by the customer on both the Federal Buyers Guide and Morrie's Public Before Wholesale disclosure
On 3/21/the customer had her vehicle in our service department to get her headlight inspectedAt that time we also performed a full circle inspection in which no trailing arm issue was noted
On Thursday 5/29/2015, I spoke with Nick at *** who made me aware the rear trailing arm was brokenThe repair for the trailing arm was $1219, due to extended driving he also advised the tires should be replacedControl/trailing arms are wear items and are a part of maintenance on vehiclesAlthough the vehicle was purchased with no warranty over a year and over 10,miles ago, out of good faith we offered to cover half the cost of the trailing arm repairWe also afforded her the opportunity to trade the vehicle inMs*** refused both options and explained she would get her attorney involved, at which point we terminated the conversation
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/06/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Morrie's Mazda was not honest to tell us the trailing arm of the was brokenThe first mechanic that saw the car in North Dakota at the AFB said oh they sold you a junk carThe mechanic continue " I know you need you tire fix but this car is not only about tire, it is a total junk the sold you.The mechanic said others have being giving you the keys back when the look at you vehicle but I am not going to give you the key for this vehicle because it is dangerous and at any time it will cause a nastic accident where in people may die and I told the Mechanic I have being complaining to Morrie's mazda but the never care about my complaint about this vehicle.and the pile of water in the trunk but the Dealer did not listen to me because the had my $down payment alreadyDianne at Morrie's mazda she told me to get a bucket and get the water out of the trunkThat was all she told me and each day I called Morrie's Mazda to tell them about the vehicle, my respond was the "vehicle is fine you will never have any problem with the vehicle for the next five years and this may/made the vehicle one year exact and before then I have being complaining about this vehicle.Any time I take the vehicle in to Morries and say I am here my vehicle is not driving properly, they will tell me it is the tireBut why will tire keep causing noise and as Morrie's Mazda said a new vehicleBut I believed a new vehicle is not supposed to make noise and have a lot of water in the trunk at initial buyingMorrie's Mazda was not Honest with me from start
