We hired E&M Construction to build a house for usThe project started out well other than having to fuss about the lunch debris left laying around at the job siteBut the quality of finish work is subpar for the amount of money paidThe wiring in the attic is in open boxes and a couple of wires are wire nutted together and left laying on top of the joistsThe exterior doors will not latch properly because the doors were not installed plumb or squareThe concrete front porch is cracked from too much water in the concrete and no stress reliefs at inside cornersMany of the walls are not straight and the cabinets had to have shim spacers installed behind them This also created problems with the countertopsThe sheet rock tape & float in a closet corner and a living room corner splitWhen I've called him, he said he would call back tomorrow, but tomorrow never comesI would not recommend his work to anyone who wants a quality built and finished home

It was a very stressful time. [redacted] and his crew made the job so easy. I was moving out and they accommodated my movements, cleaning behind me as I went. Very approachable and good listeners too. Thank you [redacted] for a great job. The new owners were especially pleased. I will use them again!

Review: Mr. Daniel Morris supposed owner/operator of this company failed to fulfill his contract. The contract was for the installation of siding for a home. He was given a total of $2,100.00 for the siding and replacement of some rotting window sills. The inital payment was given to him on 08/19/13. As of today he has only replaced 7 rotted window sills (outside only) an is no longer reachable.Desired Settlement: Would really like for Mr. Morris to finish the work promised. If he is not able to do this then I would like for he to return at least $1700.00 of the monies he received.
