Two years ago we hired Morris Roofing to replace our metal roofThey were a mid-range bid on the job but we liked what they had to saySadly, they fell far short of qualityIt took numerous phone calls to get them to come out to finish the jobWhen they came out they would be here less than minutes, put in screws and leaveWe would go through this time & time again until it seemed like they were finally finishedThen the garage roof leakedWe called them, they never came outWe had damage to the interior ceiling just after they replaced the roof, to which they never responded or offered to fix, or stand by their (poor) workmanshipThen the area around the chimney leaked, just after they replaced the roof, and they never came out to fix itWe had damage to our bedroom ceiling due to those new leaks around chimney, again they did nothingWith the recent heavy snow (30+ inches) we realized they did not install the snow cleats properly (they were backwards) and when the snow came off, it pulled the cleats out & damaged the roof as the screws and cleats left holes in the brand new metal roofAgain we called the owner, who apologized & promised to come out the next day & fix it properly himselfThis was supposed to entail fixing the holes, taking out old cleats & reinstalling them correctly and putting the other cleats back in or putting in new ones-correctlyThey were supposed to confirm the time they were coming so we could be present & sure it was done properlyAgain, they didn't callShowed up unannounced, quickly slapped sealant over the holes, put the remaining cleats on the right way but never bothered to replace the ones that came offNumerous phone calls and neither the owner or anyone else bothered to call back or come out to make it rightSupposedly this roof & workmanship have a lifetime warranty, but clearly that's only as good as the man who wrote itAnd that isn't very muchWe do NOT recommend this company and would like our money back that was wasted on them and the rework that has had to be done to repair & replace damage they caused in their horrible workmanship
