We are happy to tell of our experiences with Morris the Tree ManFor tree work, we have always felt confident to hire this company, whether it was the job of spiral pruning to optimize light and wind safety for our trees, or when it was the tremendously difficult felling of our of large douglas firs very close to the houseWe were always happy with the cleand the politeness of Wes and his workersWe asked their advice again recently, for removal of roots and stumps, in hopes we could make a trench without hurting rhododendrons, or losing too much of our hedge at the corner for privacyRight from the outset, their team was able to exceed what we thoughtDuring the estimate, we explained the difficult workThe estimator Jesse, who is clearly a skilled arborist, offered solutions to our stressHe effectively and economically was able to solve of our major problems on the propertyOne was a kids playhouse / tree fort, we worried could slide down the hill because its base over the years had become a rotting cedar stumpJesse and his team solved this by safely jacking up the fort, neatly removing the stump and all debris, and constructing a proper and secure platform so our tree fort is level and safe again A second solved problem was clearing all branches near the power linesA third solution was how to access our DNV water valve to prepare for the plumber to replace the old copper pipe and connect a new waterlineThis area caused much stress prior to hiring Morris the Tree Man, because we had been unable to see how it could be dug deep enough, and yet still protect all our treesOther companies (drainage specialists and plumbing crews) had offered various ideas, none of which we were content with nor liked the multi-thousands total price ofSo instead, we decided to ask an arborist for adviceThis turned out to be the best routeEven though plumbers deal with underground trenches, maybe they don't know about trees that wellMorris the Tree Man's crew successfully offered a solution for protecting all trees and shrubs, while making a trench, at a very good priceAlso solved, was clearing access underneath our heavy brick walkway that has roots of a special heritage treeJesse, Rachel, Don, and Elvis are like the dream team! This difficult area was neatly solved with Jesse's strategy for clearing a trench without harming our favourite treeWe're grateful to all four of you, for your super and courteous help!
