Sorry for the delay,We made numerous attempts to help this customer with troubleshooting in order to determine if replacement was needed.I am attaching copies of the correspondence with this customer for your review as he was rather crass and threatening as well, all he had to do was send us a picture showing that he swapped the blades as requested so we could determine if it needed to be replacedYou will see that he responded: The orientation of the rotor blade has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it doesn't turnI am a former combat helicopter pilot and I understand the concept of counter-rotating bladesI also understand the concept of non-rotating blades. If this issue is not resolved through this final email I will contact the Macedon Revdex.com and Chamber of CommerceI will also contact the FCC and allege Internet fraudTry me; I'm totally disabled and have plenty of time on my hands however, I will no longer spend it communicating with youYou have hours to come up with an agreeable solution! - ***When we again stated that it was our policy to troubleshoot first he replied:I acknowledge your final decisionThe rotor will not turn and you refuse to accept that, causing me instead to take pictures and go through your "troubleshooting" games.I'm saddened by this outcome(Would you like an exciting video of a rotor that doesn't turn?) It's your reputation on the line, not mine.Sincerely, [redacted] "A ripped off, dissatisfied customer”We replied that a picture with the blades in the correct orientation and a video thereafter would be very helpful in moving this process along, thank you.He replied:Too late; as previously stated, no more games, formal Revdex.com complaint filed against Axis and Morrison Innovations moments ago- ***Instead of following our instructions he decided to create more work for you and everyone else involved, if he is not willing to follow our replacement procedure, we are not required to take any further action here. Our determination from the only picture he sent is that he put the blades back onto the drone, after crashing it, in the wrong order which lead to the motor breaking down this would be considered customer damage, not a warranty issue, however we would have replaced the unit if he had shown us that he tried our troubleshooting request.Regards,Robert M [redacted] Owner/Business Development Leader Morrison Innovations, LLC
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I sent digital photos as requestedThey then wanted me to change the rotor bladeMy position is that if rotor #does not turn, rotor#does not turn and finally, no rotor attached and the motor does not turn, there may be a problem with the rotor not turning! It's hard to fly a quadcopter as a "tri-copter"! My takeaway is that the company is unresponsive to customer complaints, will not stand by there product (except I guess for a rotor blade!)and that they have NO intention of resolving this defective product complaint in a satisfactory manorPlease maintain this complaint as an unresolved issue. Regards, *** ***
