Review: I purchased a replacment radio for my vehile. The radio was suppose to be shipped to me with the supporting amplifer. The person amde a mistake and send the Radaio and the On-Star GPS unit. He then sold the rest fo the scrap vehicle to "Morrisons Auto Salvage". I when to his place of bussiness t oreturn the GPS unit and get the amplifer and he siad the vehicle had just been pick-up and he no longer had it. We called Morrisons to explain the mistake and were told to call back in a few days when the had everything unloaded. I did that, gave the the vin number of the truck and they told me they would check on the unit and get back to me. They never did, I waited a week and called back and was told they would check and get back to me, they never did. I waited 10 days and called again. This time I was told yes they had the unit and I could buy it for $100. I already paid fo rit once from the previos owner and Morrions knew the vehicle did not have a radio as it was removed before the ever seen the truck. (Note the amp id miunted underin the rear under panel so they would have no easy way to knwo if it was there or not other than being told the radio system had been sold. I asked to talk to the manage to reolve the issue. This is where it gets frusterating. He lied about every. Told me they got it from an autcion and I would have to deal with them, then said he wasnt goign to give the amp away as they only had on (thier web site listed 11 differetn amps for a 2006 Chevy trailblazer). Said he had no way of providing me infomation about the auction they got it from. I know every junk yard has to keep reconds of the vehicles. When I told him that he reluctanly agrred to get the info for me, even though I knew it purchased directly and not from an acution. Big surpise he did call back to admit his mistake and work on resolvng the issue. Every thing he told me was a lie or he did not follow up on the task he said he would.Desired Settlement: Send me my part (I will pay shipping) or let me stop and pick it up. Its mine I paid for it.

I received your letter in regards to a radio piece for a trailblazer. Although I am just now learning of the details, This is something our Sales manager [redacted] has been working on. It is fairly accurate We did indeed buy a vehicle from B & B auto and yes someone I believe was MR [redacted] did contact one of our Salespeople later to tell them they needed a piece out of the vehicle we had purchased. However we were never made aware of that when we purchased the vehicle from B&B, so it is hard for us to buy vehicles and then give the parts away. We would not remain in business very long. We are here to buy cars and sell parts. It sounds as though this is an issue with this Mr [redacted] and B&B. We really have nothing to do with it as we have not ever received anything from the gentlemen who purchased this radio. Nor have we received a call from B&B requesting to swap the pieces. However because we do try and do things right tell Mr. [redacted] if he would like to stop in and pickup this part we would be willing to do that to make him happy. Because that is what we do at Morrison’s Auto Parts. We make people happy. But please let him know Maybe next time he ought to buy his parts from a parts supplier that is in the business and could have gotten him the correct pieces the first time. As he was able to find them online no problems by the sound of his letter. He can call me directly at ###-###-#### and arrange a time for pickup.
