I am rejecting this response because: when I made my
reservation there was a statement says if I cancel or days prior to my trip there is no chargeThe statement about charges did not appear until after I cancelled

Reservation was cancelled inside the cancellation policy which is clearly states on booking.com reservation/cancellation detail policy which we have already sent it to you. If you have more question regarding cancellation policy you can contact booking.com as well.

Review: I booked stay for wrong day. I showed up a week early, gave my confirmation letter to the girl. She couldn't find my reservation and didn't notice the date so she booked my room as a walk in failing to tell me I still had a reservation the following week. They charged me for a no show. When I called to see what happened the manager Ricky was extremely rude. He called me an irresponsible female and would not refund my money. I called booking.com which is the company I booked it through. They would refund with hotel ok but when they called Ricky he LIED and said he was the one who helped me when I have never seen this man in person. I called Ricky back and he would not tell me who his boss is or the name of the company who owns the motel. Again he was extremely rude, sexist and a liar!!Desired Settlement: $77.00

Review: booked a room for 2 nights through booking.com for a guaranteed rate of 144.00 +13% tax which totals $162.72 - instead the man charged me $183.84-I asked why so much and he said it was tax....apparently they charge almost 27.70% in taxes.... isn't this illegal?He argued with me and stated that this additional amount was tax- I think this was discrimination because I am a young white woman driving a Mercedes and I'm blond and he thought I must be rich and stupid.Desired Settlement: I was overcharged I believe I should get a full refund.
