Review: I believe this business leaves it's phone off the hook so that customers cannot get through to ask questions or get help. Of course there is no way for me to prove this but every time I call the business, the phone rings busy. I try and I try over and over again ALL DAY. I never get through, especially on Mondays. They have one lady working there and I just don't think she wants bothered with the work. [redacted] twp FORCES us to use their service. We do not get to choose. I tried calling multiple times just to make sure they have received my payment because it hasn't yet come out of my account and I mailed the check may 12,2016. They need to not leave the phone off the hook or set up a secondary line so that people can get through and get the help they need. That lady only works 9-3 and I know a lot of people work at least 9-5. I have to wait for a day off so I can call during their hours of operation only to not get through. If I'm being forced to give someone my money when another service is available and I can't use them then I feel I am entitled to SOME kind of customer service since I HAVE to give my money to them. I tried calling the township office to complain and the lady there didn't seem concerned at all that the people they contracted for garbage service isn't there doing their jobs.Desired Settlement: I want the business to do their job. Get a second person and a second phone line so they can service their customers. Whether we want to be their customers or not, we still deserve some kind of customer service. I work hard for my money and I have to give it away to greedy selfish people who know they get my money regardless of how good of a job they do. It's not fair.

Review: Morrow refuse has not provided the recycling service for which I am paying. I have attempted contact with the company multiple times - left messages on the automated message system (which instructs the caller that they will receive a return call). Our township contracts with Morrow refuse for trash and recycling service. We have never been delinquent with our payment for services rendered or not rendered. This is not the first time that I have had issues with my trash and/or recycling pick up service.Desired Settlement: The complete resolution to my concern would expedient retrieval of my recycling materials and to be ensured that this type of inconvenience is not experienced in the future.

Review: The township I live in is contracted to use Morrow Refuse as the garbage and recyclable collection service. Today would be about the fifth time that they have only taken some of our trash. There was one time that they completely didn't take our recyclables. We are allowed three trash bins. We only have two trash bins, but sometimes will set a couple small white kitchen bags out as well. Morrow will selectively take the trash. I think sometimes they have even taken the trash out of the cans and set it on our lawn without taking it. The trash we put out is enough to fill the allowed three trash cans; we do not put out excessive trash (if we have to much we just keep it and put it out the next week). I have to pay for this service because of the contract with the township, so I expect Morrow to perform the service and take the trash/recyclables. I have left messages and called the company, with no response. I have also reached out to the township who was going to try to call as well. I noticed that I have neighbors that also do not have all of their trash collected. It is inconvenient that I have to carry trash and recyclables back down my driveway because they do not do their job. I pay for this service that they are not providing!Desired Settlement: Well first, I would like them to do the job that I am paying them for. That should be simple enough. However, since this is the fifth time that I have not had everything collected, I think it would be fair that I have my next bill waived to make up for the service that they didn't provide. There have been several weeks that they didn't provide the service, so why did I pay for it? A refund in the amount of $41.40 would be sufficient (which will pay for one bill).

Review: I contacted Morrow Refuse in the summer regarding our trash can that went missing on collection day. After several calls they finally answered and said they would call back with an answer - they never did. I called back several times. When I finally spoke with someone I was told that they had no idea how my cans went missing. So I obviously had to pay to replace the can. An unnecessary $50 cost to me. At this time I also discussed with them how the alley looks like it was hit by a tornado after every trash collection. Since then all of the cans in our alley are picked up - EXCEPT mine - which are still thrown all over the street. I had to call in October to ask that the cans please not be thrown directly into the pumpkin patch that my kids were growing. It seems like an obvious statement - but my cans were thrown directly into the middle of my children's pumpkin patch.If you have ever seen one - you can NOT miss it, nor confuse it for something else. 4 weeks ago the can that I replaced in August was broken on trash pick up day. The handle is almost completely ripped off. I called again to say that I would like a $50 credit on my bill. I have received no call back. One of the officers from the township council also called regarding this matter and was told they would call me - they didn't. They absolutely do NOT care about their customers. Not only is it obvious from my personal experience, but also from the "F" rating they have received from the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like a $50 credit to my bill, or a replacement of the exact same garbage can that they broke. I am not asking for much - just for them to replace what they misplaced, and then subsequently, broke.

Review: On February 17, 2015 my trash was suppose to be picked up by Morrow Refuse Inc. as it always is every Tuesday. My trash was put out by the curb on February 12, 2015 for the trash pickup the next week. I came home from work on February 17, 2015 to find that all of the other residents on my street had their trash picked up, but mine. I called Morrow Refuse Inc. and left a message with my contact information. The company returned my phone call on Wednesday and I explained the nature of the problem to them. The lady on the other end of the phone provided me with bogus excuses which made no sense at all. First she told me that there was a delay in the pickup and that the trash was not picked up along my street. I explained to her that the trash was picked up on my street and that mine was not. Her second excuse was that when I provided my address, she said that the company did not pickup trash at the address. I then explained to the employee that I have been paying for trash service pickup now for going on over three years. The employee then pulled up my account information only to find out I was telling the truth. She then again provided me with more bogus excuses.Desired Settlement: The date is Thursday February 19, 2015 and my trash still remains in the same spot. I had explained to the employee that I would like my trash picked up since I pay for a service and that service was not fulfilled. So, I would like Morrow Refuse Inc. to fulfill their obligated service duty of picking up my trash like they should have done following my phone call placed in to them to address the issue.

This is the worst costumer service I've ever felt with. My bills are alwayse paid in full in advance. The trash has not been removed in months. I've called multiple times. When I say multiple I mean 20 or more. I've been on the phone with a nice lady a few times and called back onece by the owner who was very rude calling me wrong. The trash was alwayse put out neatly and within there 3 bag limit. The one time I got a reason it wasn't removed was because it was parked in. There is no parking anywhere near my trash and it is easily accessible from the road that the truck drives on. Witnesses say the truck drives right by it. That mean the tires are within 2 feet of the bags. No excuse for the non pickup. Usually when I call it's a busy signal or answering machine. Very rare do I get a call back from a message.

Review: Just became customers of Morrow Refuse a month ago. They didn't pick up our garbage the first 2 weeks in a row, I left a message and they never called back. On the third week they finally answered and they picked the garbage up. Now it is week number 4 and they missed our garbage again...I called and left a message. I have already paid for service and still are missing my house.Desired Settlement: I want my garbage picked up every week as it should be. Also a month credit would suffice due to not picking it up for most of the month...

Review: 3/31/14 my trash was not picked up. I called on that day and 4/1/14 and 4/2/14 also 3 calls and no return call from morrow. on 4/7,4/14,4/21 and 4/28 trash was picked up. today beginning of month 5/5 trash not picked up. I get home after 5 and called morrow they must close at 5, I left message like before. my account is paid in full I do not have an outstanding balance. I did contact consumer protection of Allegheny county and I am waiting to see what they have to say about first incident. I will advise them morrow did it again.Desired Settlement: just to have the service that I pay for, consistent pick up of my trash.

Review: For the past time period beginning September 2012 through December 2013. I have not had any trouble with the garbage collection service provided by Morrow Refuse Inc. Only now beginning January 2014 through present have I had an issue. They stopped collecting our trash. I did have an outstanding balance. Therefore I did not expect them to take it. However after paying the balance in full and them cashing the check which my bank statements prove; they still didnt pick up our trash. I contacted them twice and first they did not know they cashed my check then they said they will send someone out to take the trash. It has been three weeks and they still have not collected the trash. I contacted them yet again prior to filing this complaint and again first they did not acknowledge the payment as being revived then admitted to poor record keeping and said that yet four weeks later apparently have not updated my account. I've checked for other sanitation services and currently or for double the price there are no other companies that service this particular area.Desired Settlement: Simply better business practices and record keeping and yes if service is paid for then to pick up the trash.
