Review: I will attempt to be as brief and concise as possible.I went to Morrow's Tailor Shop to have clothing altered after I lost weight. I asked the tailor if it was financially worth the money to have the clothing altered and if not, I would not spend the amount of money they were charging.I was told at my initial fitting that my clothes (6 pairs of pants and 5 baseball caps) would be ready on January 26, 2015.I returned on that date to find nothing was ready as promised. I was given a new date of Feb. 13th. When I returned to pick up the clothes, only the caps and one pair of pants was correctly altered. I had paid a total of $444 yet the tailor did not do the work on time.I returned to pick up the remaining pants on Feb. 19th. At that time I picked up the 6 pants and gave them an additional pair of legging type pants which I paid another $30 to have altered. I was busy and did not try on the repairs at the store. On Feb. 26th I returned to the tailor and told them that 5 of the pants were not altered correctly. I gave them back to the tailor who promised to have them ready on March 5, 2015. When I returned to the store on March 5th, the pants were given back to me. I tried them on at home; the alterations were not completed accurately.I returned to the store and told the tailor I was unhappy with their work; they had not repaired my clothing and had not delivered the services in a timely manner. I told the shop owner that I wanted a refund of my money. She refused and stated I was at fault because I kept losing weight in between fittings. She is not accurate. Despite repeated attempts to solve this issue, she has refused to accept responsibility for not fixing my pants (they cannot be altered any further as the length would be too short). Two of these articles of clothing were brand new. I have lost time, money and clothing. This is not acceptable to me. I have written letters, talked with her in person and on the phone. I asked her to settle with me; she refuses.Desired Settlement: Since my pants cannot be repaired and two of them were new; I have discovered different receipts of proof of purchase than the ones I mistakenly sent to her in a letter dated March 7, 2015.I offered a satisfactory solution to solve this problem, I want $225 minimum to resolve this matter. In good faith, the tailor did not deliver services promised on time, nor were they done accurately.I want a financial settlement; otherwise I will pursue legal action.Sincerely,[redacted]
