Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is a typical & convenient response from themAs for the confidentiality, we were the client and we are not asking them to put it in writing, just to account for their billing practicesWe have all the correspondence from them, never once have we been invited to stop by after hours nor on a weekend until this attached letter, however that still being the fact there is nothing to discuss, we do not need it explained we just need it in writing and we do not want to be bullied into a cornerAs we have and continue to ask for is a detailed statement showing how the monies have been applied, we do not feel they can nor will they provide this and even if they do provide a detailed statement, they, on there own statement, say they owe us a small amount which they still refuse to refund We received only one detailed statement for the usage of about half the monies and one statement showing that we have only a very small amount of money remaining, which is why we need a accounting of factsAfter dealing with other attorney firms since, we have been treated far better and will continue using other firms with a better understanding of what is right and correct practices.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

RE: ID [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com :
October 6, 2016

I  received a complaint, a copy of which I s attached . Please tmderstand that it is very difficult for u s as attorneys to respond in any great detail to  a 3rd party such as  Revdex.com because to address the concerns...

over  billing raised by Mr.  and Mrs. [redacted] in this manner I would need to detail precisely what was done on behalf of the client and the rationale for decisions and actions that were taken. Doing so with Revdex.com wou ld breach attorney-cl ient confident iali ty and put us afou l of the Rules of Professional Conduct adopted by the Washington State Bar Association . With that being said , I will do my best to  address the complaint.
When I learned that the Mills were concerned about the ir invoice, I personally asked the [redacted] via
email on May 6, 20 16  to come in so we could di scuss the work that was done, the time that was billed and see ifl could answer their inquiry and if we could resolve the matter. The [redacted] responded on May 6, 2016 that they don't arrive in Vanco uver until 5:30 pm and did not want to take time off to meet with me. I responded on Satw·d ay May 7, 20 16 that I didn't want them to take time off from work, that it "would not be the highest and best use of your time." I didn't hear back from them until June 7, 20 16. I responded again that same day ask ing "Please come meet w ith me so we can resolve this". They re sponded on June 8, 2016 essentially demanding money back that didn't exist, because work had been done and fees earned . It is important to understand that itemi zed invoices were sent to the [redacted] . I also have a statement from their former attorney Beck ie P[redacted] detailing what she had done with and for the [redacted] and laying out why their bill was the an1ount stated. I cannot sh are that information with the Revdex.com but if only Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] would come see me at their conven ience, I cettainly cou ld explain it to them in detai l and attempt to resolve this matter.
We work later than 5:30pm though our office closes at 5 pm, and we often work Saturdays. I can't make the [redacted] come talk to me and allow me to answer questions and explain the work that was done, why it was done and how much it cost, but it sure would be helpful if they wou ld. I can only make my self available.
