There is no disclaimer to advise clients that their option is a credit card account with care credit @ 26% interest, not with Mortensen DentalHonesty in advertisingThe account with the dental office is paid in full by the credit card!!!

Based on my experience with health and dental services, service providers know better than customers about whether a service is going to be covered by insuranceThis is my second time using MortensonThe first time was for a teeth cleaning serviceFor the first time, a lady cleaned my teeth and would like to provide some additional cleaningShe let me know ahead of time that insurance would not cover this and asked me whether I would like to have itI took the serviceIn this case, I had not problem with paying for itBut for the teeth filling service, Mortenson Family Dental went directly for white filling for inner teeth without checking with meI don't believe that they did not know that the common practice is to use silver for inner teeth and white for outside teeth, and most insurance companies do not cover silver filling for inner teeth. Further, the company did not respond towards my complaint about their managementIt was very difficult to talk to their managerI called many times and only was able to talk to the front desk ladyI left my contact information twice, and asked the manager to call me back. I never got any responses from themI understand that the manager could have a busy scheduleBut I also have a lot of commitments at work and at home every dayNow I am only requesting for not to pay for the amount that I should not payPlease do reimburse what I have paidIn this case, I would withdraw all complaints that I have made, and wish that company will improve their management in the future

Request to reopen - incomplete resolve. On 12/11/I began the process to get a Somodent device to wear in the mouth for sleep apneaThe office said my insurances would pay but I had to pay up frontI used a Visa cardThe amount was $I fought with them and finally reported them to Revdex.com and they were forced to pay me part of itIt was the amount my first insurance had paid them and it was for over dollarsThey still owe me the amount that VA paid them which is $I checked with the VA and they said they mailed a check to Mortenson LLC on the 15th of AugustWhen I call the dental office the person in charge of insurance doesn't call me back, she did answer one emailShe said they didn't get the money and they couldn't pay meI would rather believe the VAI also have an EOB from the VA stating they paid the amount to Mortenson DentalI would appreciate if you could help me get the rest of the money owed me for the last two years.I would like a check for the $mailed to me as quickly as possibleI told them I was moving next weekI live at *** *** *** *** ** *** but as of this next Thursday will be moving to *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They want me to call them again and I prefer that any further communication with Mortenson be done by mail or email so that I have a record of what was stated Talking on the phone was what allowed them the opportunity to berate me, I prefer not to have that occur in the future.For the record, I asked to talk to the employee's supervisor on that same date and was told in what I considered to be a "nasty" tone, "she's going to tell you the same thing that I'm telling you, etc" It was after those words that I was scolded like a child by that employee I request that Mortenson provide me with a copy of that recorded conversation. FYI: After filing my complaint, my wife received a bill for my dental treatment As far as I'm concerned, they have not only personally offended me, they've further treated me like a child by sending that bill to her, instead of to me I'm totally responsible for my debts and Mortenson should have billed me directly While berating me, they explained how I'm supposed to know if I have insurance coverage, I believe they should know not to reveal my personal medical treatment and debt information to anyone else when there is no insurance/3rd party providers involved. I've referred this information to the Deptof Health & Human Services for additional consideration as a violation of the HIPPA law. I personally wrote the check for to pay this bill for cleaning & x-rays in full and then delivered it to that same office a few days after receipt of the bill so that they couldn't claim that my wife was late paying "My Bill", which would have impacted her credit

During the six months, there was also bridge work which was not done satisfactorily--this was discussed in the dentist's office with a dental assistant. Since Mortenson was unable to create a product that satisfies my dental needs and dental health, I'm asking they carry out their standard process of refunding my money in full.
Also, I have sent a complaint to the KY Board of Dentistry regarding this matter

Mortenson Family Dental has located the last remaining payment from [redacted]'s insurance provider, which will be promptly refunded to Ms. [redacted].  As previously stated, Ms. [redacted] will be reimbursed the full amount of the insurance payments made to Mortenson Family Dental, up to the full amount of $2,850.00.  This final payment should close the matter.

[When I attempted to pay for the crown the money was refused I am not sure of how that's a care solution and per [redacted] even if I paid for the crown in full the crown wouldn't be installed in my mouth and I would need to pay another 600 for another crown]

I did not agree to pay ahead of time, as they have requested me to do so. This clearly indicated that I did not agree with something that I did not fully understand at that time. I paid on the day when I submitted a complaint to the Revdex.com, when I lost my hope that I would be able to talk to the manager about the issue. I can pull my phone call history out to show that I have contacted the business multiple times. I never got any opportunity to talk to any person other than the front desk lady. For at least two times, I asked the manager to call me back. I never got any phone call from the business. I wish that the business can show some evidence about their effort to contact me. If the business keeps on denying facts and insisting on that they care about their customers, I think it is a waste of everyone's time on repeating ourselves.

The Mortenson Family Dental team discussed treatment options with patient in advance of any treatment taking place.  The patient agreed to the treatment performed.  The office did speak to the patient several times concerning payment options, and the account has since been settled.  After an additional review of the facts in this matter, Mortenson Family Dental has again concluded that additional action is not warranted, and no refund will be issued to the patient.  Mortenson Family Dental stands by the treatment provided to this patient.

At Mortenson Family Dental, there is a commitment and dedication to treating each person that comes in contact with any and all team members to be treated with courtesy and respect. If a miscommunication leads any person in the community to feel this commitment is not upheld, Mortenson Family Dental...

asks that the Team Leader of the office is reached out to and the issue is resolved with the Team Leader with a resolution that satisfies both parties. Feedback is what helps Mortenson Family Dental improve the patient experience. It is welcomed and appreciated.
