Complaint: 10763325     I am rejecting this response because: Mr. b[redacted] has yet...

to furnish my mother with a detailed account of her payment history.  Just because I am not a customer of cal Loans that does not negate the fact that I have the right to advocate on the behalf of my mother.  She is 85 years old and has been paying on her 15 year mortgage faithfully.       She sent in her last payment receipt using the booklet given to her by Cal Loans.  Now Mr. B[redacted] says she still owes in excess of $19,000 and it will take her an additional 5 years to pay off the additional trumped up charges that no one has proof of except for Mr. B[redacted]s' word over the telephone.  There is nothing in writing that details all of the so-called charges even though my mother has repeatedly asked for an accounting in writing.

Review: Hello,08/10/2015My name is R[redacted]. I am writing this on behalf of my 85 Year old mother. Her name is P[redacted]. She lives in a manufactured home in Sylmar California 91342. She has a mortgage with Cal-Loans located at [redacted], Santa Barbara, California 93101 ###-###-####. She had a 15 year mortgage which she has been paying for faithfully for the past 15 years, she is through paying for her loan as of July of 2015. However, she was told by a Mr. B[redacted] of Cal-Loans that she still owes in excess of ($19,000) Nineteen Thousand Dollars on a loan amount of ($44,000) Forty Four Thousand Dollars with an interest rate of 15%, which should have been reduced a long time ago given the current interest rates. When I spoke to the representative of Cal-Loans (Mr. B[redacted]), he stated that my mother has been in foreclosure 4-5 times in the past although the so-called foreclosures were never recorded in court and she never received any notices of foreclosure. Mr. B[redacted] also stated that his companys lawyers did file notices and even if the notices were never recorded in court, my mother still owes legal fees and that is why she still owes in excess of ($19,000) Nineteen Thousand Dollars fifteen years later on a paid for 15 year mortgage. I also asked Mr. B[redacted] how much their lawyers charged for the presumed notices, he told me $450.00 each time that is still only ($2,250). Two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty dollars assuming he is correct in his over-the-phone guesstimate of five notices. Where is the other $16-$17,000 coming from? My mother states that she has repeatedly asked Mr. B[redacted] for an itemized account of all of her charges that he says she still owes, and he has never complied.Desired Settlement: 1.) Itemized detailed explanation of all charges in writing.2.) Reduction in the 15% interest rate to reflect the current market.3.) Complete elimination of the trumped up charges of so-called legal fees, late fees etc.4.) Elimination of the additional charges of $19,000 on a paid for mortgage.5.) Transfer of the deed to the property.
