understand some key points regarding the mortgage approval process and in particular their unique situation.  While they went elsewhere and were told quickly that they did not qualify for an [redacted] mortgage, the decision they received was based on an automated underwriting system.  Unlike some mortgage companies, Mortgage Network has several investors and products at its disposal, including products that can assist consumers with lower than average credit.  Additionally, an automated underwriting machine provides only guidance to a lender; no lending decision can be made at Mortgage Network without the review of a live underwriter.  Given the customers’ credit history, and based on the information we obtained from the customers, we believed we would be able to fit them into one of our programs.  It is agreed that the customers did provide several pieces of documentation.  But, some information provided necessitated explanations which were then deemed to be unacceptable.  Mortgage Network strives to be the pre-eminent mortgage lender in our markets and in the eyes of our customers, employees, business partners and peers.  We commit to providing the highest level of service and expertise which consistently exceeds everyone’s expectations.  Mortgage Network consistently receives high customer satisfaction ratings which in 2015 was 98.12%.   We are sorry that these customers did not have a positive experience with Mortgage Network.

Our debit to income ratio was to large to qualify from the beginning! I provided another Mortgage Rep the file with all our documents that were given to [redacted] with Mortgage Network.  The new Rep entered our information into [redacted]'s online program and it was rejected & we were told that he doesn't understand how were could have been pre qualified in the first place! We were NOT told our explanations were NOT satisfactory! The email that discussed why our [redacted] loan was denied, stated we did not have enough money in our checking/saving's account, my fiance credit & rental history.  #1 there was over 10,000 in our accounts, #2, My fiance's credit didn't change (we only paid off his entire back debt as requested) & #3 my rent was fully paid and current.  There was nothing that we misunderstood, if we misunderstood anything it was due to receiving incorrect information from the [redacted] our mortgage rep!  We didn't get this loan because we never qualified for it in the first place and should have been told that in March of 2016 & that would have been accepted and OK with us! Not led to believe we could get a house, spend our time and money only to end up practically homeless 20 days before closing! Our rental was sold and the new owners are converting the home back to single family.  So we were left find our family a new place to live at moments notice! Mortgage Network's response is completely rude and unacceptable. Companies should carry out business respectfully and with morals; looking out for people not the companies best interest. I am asking again to be reimbursed for the 2 unnecessary home inspections that we paid for (because we should have never been searching for a home to buy, because we weren't qualified).  I can provided proof that both inspections were paid, if need be.
