I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I called two days before to book the additional room and they said that the room was available and was booked in my name. When I arrived, I told them that I was checking in for two nights and they said yes, that is correct. NO attempt was made to contact me when the room was sold. My cell phone was ON! I received calls that day, so I know for a fact that people were able to contact me. Why was no message left so I can call back to say that I needed to keep the room? No missed calls showed up on my phone at the times you said you tried to call. When I showed up at the Hotel, I told the front desk to call me right then and there to see that the phone still worked. HE DID NOT! So I really can't believe that you made any attempt to call or contact me to tell me that the room has been sold. I was already confirmed for a two night stay, so why should I call the same day to make sure that the room was still available? No one does this, that is not normal behaviour. And the fact that you still made us pay for Hostel beds for your mistake is such poor customer service that I can't believe you're still in business. No attempt was made to work with us other than to blame us for your mistake. You should not be part of ANY Revdex.com listing. You are misrepresenting Reserve San Diego and the city of San Diego as a place for tourist to stay.Regards,

WE ARE ADRESSING THE Revdex.com, WITH A RESPONSE FOR THIS COMPLAINT. THE GUEST DID IN FACT ASK IF THERE WERE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR THE NEXT DAY AT THE TIME SHE ASKED WE DID HAVE ROOMS FOR RENT FOR THE NEXT DAY, BUT SHE DID NOT MAKE ANY SORT OF RESERVATION FOR THE ROOM, NOR DID SHE INFORM THE FRONT DESK...

THAT HER PLANS WERE FOR HER TO STAY ANOTHER NIGHT, OVER NIGHT THE ROOM SOLD. THE DAY OF HER CHECK OUT THE GUEST DID NOT COME OR CALL OR MADE ANY EFFORTS TO CALL THE FRONT DESK TO INFORM US SHE WANTED TO STAY, THE FRONT DESK INCLUDING MYSELF TRYING SEVERAL TIMES (11AM, 12PM, 1PM AND 2PM.) TO CALL THE CELL PHONE PROVIDED TO US BY HER THIS PHONE WAS OFF AND WOULD GO STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL. SHE DID NOT RESPOND OR SHOW TO THE HOTEL UNTIL 9PM. DURING THE DAY MANAGEMENT MADE THE DECISION TO PACK HER THINGS FROM HER ROOM AND STORE THEM IN THE BACK OFFICE. I SUPERVISED THE PACKING AND STORING MYSELF AS OUR PROTOCOL STATES THAT WHENEVER MAINTENANCE OR ANYTHING SIMILAR LIKE THIS HAPPENS A SUPERVISOR HAS TO BE PRESENT TO OVERSEE THIS. GUEST DID NOT HAVE A RESERVATION FOR THE SECOND NIGHT, NO PAYMENT WAS TAKEN FROM HER OTHER THAN HER FISRT NIGHT STAY. WITHOUT A RESERVATION NO ROOM IS GARANTEED. SHE BOOKED THROUGH ONE OF ONLINE PARTNERS AND I WILL ATTACHED THE DETAILS OF HER RESERVATION PROVIDED TO US BY THE 3RD PARTY, THIS RESERVATION WAS HONORED BUT NO ADDITION OF NIGHTS WAS PROVIDED TO US BY THEM. GUEST FAILED TO BOOK A RESERVATION FOR THER HOTEL.  THE INFO PROVIDED TO US BY OUR 3RD PARTY BOOKER: This is a Guaranteed Reservation based upon inventory you have supplied.
