Morton's the Steakhouse

Review: Went to Morton's Restaurant in Sacramento CA for Dinner on 9/13/2013. The Waitress made a sales pitch for me to join the Landry's Select Club for $25.00. She explained that I would be receiving points every time I go to one of the restaurants and that I would also receive a $25.00 Welcome Reward just for joining and a $25.00 Birthday Reward in the month of my Birthday. I decided to join and paid the $25.00 that night. A few days later I created an account online. I noticed my balance only showed $25.00. On October 1st I received an email from Landry's that I had $25.00 Birthday Reward added to my card. I went online and my balance showed $50.00, my initial $25.00 that I paid and the $25.00 Birthday Reward. I filled out an online question on the rewards site asking when I would receive the $25.00 Welcome Reward. They responded that I had received it, $50.00 total, $25.00 welcome and $25.00 Birthday. I replied back and said no I still have not received my Welcome Reward because I paid the first $25.00 and the second is for the Birthday reward. They replied again with the same response. I then called customer service today, 10/8/13 and asked why does your website FAQ's state the following: Becoming a Landrys Select Club Member: Show Answer Is there a cost to join? There is a one-time, non-refundable $25 Membership Fee. There is no annual fee to continue your membership. You will also receive a $25 Welcome Reward for joining the Landrys Select Club within 24 hours of registering your account online. The woman on the phone said "the one-time Fee is the same thing as the Welcome reward, you just get it after you enroll online" I then said but that is not what the Waitress said at Morton's nor what your website says. She said it is the same thing and you already received your Welcome Reward. I paid the one time fee, which is not a reward and would like the $25.00 welcome reward I am owed. This is false advertising from your staff and the web alike. Thank you for your attention, [redacted]

Ms. [redacted] did visit the restaurant again on November 10th and received a total of $75.00 in discounts ($25 Welcome Reward, $25 Birthday Reward, and an additional $25 credit). We believe this matter is resolved.
