Mort's Auto Care Reviews (4)

The person who made the comment back from mort's auto Care is giving false information as to my significant other and I having the same car. He took me to pick up my car in his work car. We have 4 cars total. They have serviced his RSX also. They can take a look into [redacted] file and see they've recently serviced it. This man is trying to make something out of vehicle make and models for no reason. I took the parts to him. Sealed still in the box coil overs do not come with a top plate in some cases. From Speedyracer.com. they even informed him they do not come with a top plate. So if he thought for one second he couldn't do it or something wasnt there. He shouldn't have even touched the vehicle!

[redacted], "Customer", placed a date for work to be done, stating she had her own parts.  Here at Mort's Auto Care, we typically DO NOT do jobs for those who provided parts for their mechanical repairs, because we are a Mechanical Repair Shop.  [redacted] stated this was a...

special part that she had previously purchased and her husband DID NOT have time to do the job.  She also stated her husband had the same car, and he did his work.  He owns a Honda and she has a Acura, two different Make and Models. [redacted] car needed One Rear and both Front Struts put on. The Front Struts did NOT have all the parts needed to complete job. When Customer was contacted to let her know they needed Bearing Plates, Customer ([redacted]) advised that the factory ones would work, so job was completed by Tech here at Mort's Auto Care as advised. Customer returned later upset that the nuts had come loose on top of the Strut. Mort's Auto Care then ordered the parts that were needed to complete the job, value of $160.00 not including any Labor Charges. Bearing Plates that the Customer was advised of in beginning.  Mort's Auto Care DID NOT charge her to complete this job just to please the customer.  This job calls for 10 hours of Labor, which is $68.00 an hour, plus the $160.00, totaling $840.00 before taxes. The "Bald Man" [redacted] was referencing is the owner of Mort's Auto Care.  His name is Stan M[redacted].

First off, I did not know that [redacted] was her "husband", her last name being "[redacted]" is "[redacted]", and the Alignment Man knows of [redacted]s other vehicles.  I have three attachments, first and second shows original bill, knocking off $181.56 because she was not happy, because we did not have all parts to complete job.  Parts Supplied by Customer.  Second attachment shows second billing, what customer Paid.  Third billing shows what she still owes as of October 24, 2016.  Customer was completely kept up to date on the progress of her vehicle, of the lack of parts, what we ordered and we paid for which is NOT included in the billing, because we wanted to keep her safe and happy.  Customers billing still has a balance due of $67.29 which she has made NO effort to pay.I will have to send copies in multiple messages. Will only allow one attachment at a time.

Ticket number [redacted] that was my case with mort's auto care center. Justgot the email that this was going to be a closed case. I never saw anymessages on Revdex.com website I checked periodically. However I am still verydisappointed in their response. My husband and I both have the same carsone is not a Honda. We both own a acura RSX and that is correct my husbanddoes the work on his car and usually mine. However, couldn't knock the boltlose so we decided to just take it there. My biggest thing is my carleaving there without the bolts up through the top. Its not my everydaydriver so I didn't notice until I heard a weird rattle. I then took it tothe closest shop (Chris workman) and. He informed me its very dangerous andmy tires could come off. They are aware of this. Yes I was not happy that Ihad to go back and pay more for their mistake!!! I still owe $68 and planto pay it however don't feel that I should have to after they left myfamilies lives on the line!
