Hello [redacted] - thank you for sending the documents over, we have received them and had time to review. The contract you sent over was the one we did in fact have on file. Based on the private sale of the property and opening / closing and the delivery of the memorial all that is left on this contract for refund is the $79 for the urn.We do not have any other contract on file, however we would like to see if it is possible to schedule a time to meet in person to go over this and see what can be done. On August 12, 2016 [redacted] came into the funeral home requesting a certificate of interment rights transfer be done for the cemetery interment rights, her deceased mother ([redacted]) had owned, as she had privately sold the interment rights and now needed to convey the interment rights to the...

new owners. We performed the transfer to Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] (please see attached). The counselor had indicated to Ms [redacted] that there may be a refund of merchandise that had not been used or delivered, but that would have to be determined by the administrative office once the file was reviewed. We found that the only merchandise that had not been used or delivered was an urn that was on this contract. The amount paid for that urn was $79.00 (please see attached contract). Once verified the refund was submitted for processing.   Please note, 1)       I am not sure where Ms. [redacted] came up with the figure of $1300.00 as the entire contract ( attached) is only $791.34 2)      We do not refund interment rights, especially ones that have been privately sold. 3)      The reason for the delay in the refund was due to the fact this contract was not in HMIS and I had to do additional research to make sure of what merchandise had in fact been delivered and what had not. I then had to create a file within HMIS to be able to attach all documentation to, so that a refund could be requested. I have attached a copy of the following: Original contract Interment right Quit Claim All supporting documentation, such as Death certificates, releases, etc. to conduct said transfer All email correspondence with Ms. [redacted] and my inquiry to our home office for instructions.  Thank you, Dawn [redacted] General Manager
