The customer did come in and get the serviceI never received a phone call or complaint until I was back in the country Dec 12thI offered to redo her Brazilian blowout but she declinedI then refunded the $she paid to me via credit card at the salonOffered to give her the "$50" tip she said she left via certified checkShe refusedI also know Groupon credited her the money she bought from them ($179)So, she would have had zero loss if she just comes and gets the $She is made wholeI'm don't get how this is a business bureau issue when she ended up getting the service for freeIm happy to still give her the $check if she would like to come get it

Again, I am happy to give you your refund of $in a certified check formLet me know if you would like to pick it up As far as Groupon , I have an email from them stating I am not responsible for what you paid to themYou were forwarded this email as wellWhen you buy from them, you agree to their terms and conditionsI am not part of thatYou have been refunded the $on your card, and can come get your tip money in a certified checkYou will have to deal with Groupon for the amount you paid to themThank you

I am rejecting this response because:   The following documents my responses to the message received from [redacted] of Mosaic Salon. Her assertions continue to be blatantly false, and I am presenting documentation that refute each of her assertions, and support each point in my complaint. History: I purchased a Groupon in the amount of $179.00, for 2 official Brazilian Blowouts (see Exhibits 1 and 2), performed by [redacted], paid an additional charge of $30.00 for 2” of hair past my shoulders, and gave [redacted] a cash tip of $50.00 on November 3, 2016, when the Ms. [redacted] performed the “Brazilian Blowout” I notified the salon on November 9, 2016 that the results were completely unacceptable and detailed the manner in which Ms. [redacted] performed the Brazilian Blowout, vs. the official Brazilian Blowouts instructions (Exhibit 4), which she did not follow. (This was not my first Brazilian Blowout.) Ms. [redacted]’s Groupon advertisement that the treatment process is  approximately three-hours, which is indeed the amount of time it typically takes to complete a Brazilian Blowout, especially on a person with extremely thick and wavy hair, like myself. Ms. [redacted] completed my “Brazilian Blowout” in less than 90 minutes (see details in Exhibit 3) The total amount of money paid to Ms. [redacted] is $259.00. Ms. [redacted] refunded the $30 additional charge, and she is still in possession of $229 of my money. She alleges that she has a $50 check for me, but I have asked repeatedly that my refund be sent via PayPal, and she refuses. If Ms. [redacted] were to refund the $50 tip, she is still in possession of $179 of my money, paid to her, to perform 2 properly executed official Brazilian Blowouts, of which I received none.   MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS ([redacted]) The customer did come in and get the service. Response: I got a service that was incorrectly performed (see Exhibit 3) resulting in virtually NO benefit to my hair, as evidenced by the attached picture (Exhibit 3 p.2), and my original complaint to the salon on November 9, 2016, 6 days after the “service”. I never received a phone call or complaint until I was back in the country Dec 12th. Response: I called the salon on November 9, to make them aware of the issue, and was told by the receptionist to send my complaint, specifically regarding [redacted], electronically through their website, which I did on that day. After not hearing back for more than a week, I sent a second email (via their website) and asked for the name of the owner. I did not receive a response from either email. I called the salon the following week, and was given the owner’s name, and l left messages for him to contact me. On Dec. 2, 2016, I received a call from the salon owner [redacted], and I re-sent my original complaint (Exhibit 3). The salon was made aware of my complaint 6 days after the service, following the procedures I was provided when I called in. I offered to redo her Brazilian blowout but she declined. Response: I only spoke to [redacted] one time, and she did NOT offer to re-do the service. This is a flagrant lie. Please note however, that after my experience with the dishonesty and poor service provided at this establishment, I will not allow Ms. [redacted], or any other stylist at this salon perform a service on me. Offered to give her the "$50" tip she said she left via certified check. She refused. Response: This is another blatant lie. I at no time refused a refund of the $50 tip (it defies logic to suggest that I would refuse this), and in fact provided them with my PayPal account information, and the refund was never sent. I also know Groupon credited her the money she bought from them ($179). Response: Groupon did NOT credit me ANY MONEY. They offered me Groupon Bucks, which can only be used to purchase Groupon products, which I declined, as they are  not accepted by anyone who isn’t running a Groupon deal, including my out of town hairdresser (who I have previously had properly performed Brazilian Blowouts, with spectacular results). Apparently Groupon, in spite of me declining the offer credited me with Groupon Bucks, which are virtually useless to me. I cannot use them for the purpose I paid for, and I do not and will not use Groupon for other services after this ridiculous fiasco with Ms. [redacted], and Mosaic salon. These Groupon Bucks are virtually the same as giving me credit to a Butcher Shop when I am vegan. The bottom line is, Ms. [redacted] does NOT get to keep the money I paid her to perform 2 services, of which she appropriately performed ZERO. Ms. [redacted]’s Groupon advertisement clearly states that “Merchant is solely responsible to purchaser for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.” It is Ms. [redacted]’s responsibility to refund me ALL of the money I paid her (in person or through Groupon) for services she did not appropriately render. So, she would have had zero loss if she just comes and gets the $50. She is made whole. Response: Same as above. I'm don't get how this is a business bureau issue when she ended up getting the service for free. Response: Again, I got an incorrectly performed service, providing NO benefit to my hair) Im happy to still give her the $50 check if she would like to come get it. Response: Please send via PayPal to [redacted], as previously and repeatedly requested.   In addition to being out over $200, I have expended countless hours and energy attempting to resolve this issue. I have have copies of all email documentation to and from Mr. [redacted], Ms [redacted], and myself, and can provide cell phone records of the numerous phone calls I have made to the salon, in an attempt to resolve, if this information is helpful. I am only asking for what is fair and just. I paid for 2 services and got none. Ms. [redacted] is not entiteled to ANY of my money, paid for services not rendered.
