Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There was no notification placed on my vehicle stating that my vehicle was disabledI also was not "irate and refusing to pay." I simply stated that I, under no circumstances, would hand him cash and would only pay via check or card directly to the companyThe employee became hostile and threatening and went to get the police officerThe officer in turn stated that the employee in fact should have placed notification on my vehicle so he was liable for the damage causedIf said employee had followed proper pocedure the damages would not have occurred as I would have known a boot had been placedI am willing to provide witness that the employee was acting extremely hostile, rude, and threatening and also have photos from the night of the incident showing the damage, the parking spot, and lack of notification on the windowI'm sure with a bit of digging I can also contact the officer who can attest to these facts Regards, [redacted] ***

The residents at the [redacted] buy parking passes that allows them to park in designated areasThe residents sign documents with the [redacted] stating they understand which areas are permissible with specific parking passesThe residents are also informed that their vehicles will be towed if they park in undesignated areas.Because of the numerous residents that choose to park in undesignated areas, the [redacted] contracted ***'s Towing & Transport LLC to tow said vehiclesWhen there are multiple vehicles, the vehicles are booted to disable them until the tow truck is availableIf the vehicle owner shows up before the vehicle is towed, he/she can release the vehicle on site for a discounted rate.In this specific instance, Ms [redacted] was parked in a “NO PARKING ZONE” that was marked with linesThe driver put a parking boot on her vehicle on the driver's sideA note was also placed on the driver's side windshield telling her the vehicle was disabledBecause Ms [redacted] tried to drive off with the boot on her vehicle, the rim got a niche in it.Ms [redacted] called into dispatch, who then in turn called the driverWhen the driver arrived back to the vehicle, she was very irate because her vehicle had been bootedShe demanded that the boot be removed and the driver pay for the niche in her rimHe explained it would be $to release the boot from her vehicleMs [redacted] insisted on writing him a personal checkThe driver explained that it is against company policy to accept personal checks and would only accept cash or credit card as paymentThe driver found the security officer because Ms [redacted] refused to pay for services renderedThe officer explained to Ms [redacted] that she should not have parked in the "NO PARKING ZONE”.The residents of the [redacted] know which designated areas they are allowed to park in and must abide by the rulesThe [redacted] has set up consequences when the rules are brokenNeedless to say, most residents are not happy about their vehicles being towed. If you have any additional questions, please call me at 502- [redacted] Respectfully yours, [redacted] Office Manager ***'s Towing & Transport, LLC
