I am writing you back in response to Mr*** complaint against Royal ChevroletMr*** came in on a sunnySaturday to take delivery of his new vehicle, and upon inspection noticed some light surface scratches on the vehicleThe sales manager, in good faith, reduced the cost of the
vehicle by $*** to offset the cost of detailing the vehicle and removing the scratchesMr*** agreed to these terms, shook the hand of the manager, and proceeded with the paperworkRoyal had secured an estimate from its own body shop that the light surface scratches could be fixed for between $*** and $***At any time, Mr *** had the opportunity to back out of the deal, but he chose to go forward with the purchase.Once Mr*** got home, he sought out estimates to repair the scratches and got estimates that were quite hirer than our body shopOur manager came to me and asked if we would issue a check for $*** to cover the quotes from the independent detail shopsAlong with the price concession, the $*** check would cover of the quotes that Mr*** received which we know are out of lineI agreed and the check was issuedBoth times, Royal Chevrolet has complied with Mr*** requests, and Royal has done everything that we are going to do on this matterRoyal has more than fulfilled its obligations to Mr***.Sincerely,Del M***, Owner

Ms*** had a car financed with *** *** ***, and included in her loan was gap insuranceUnder circumstances, we use our own gap insurance company, but Tidewater Finance only allows their own gap
insurance on their contractsIt was a completely different process for our warranty clerk to processMs*** talked numerous times to our clerk on the phone and seemed satisfied with the processA check was sent to *** *** and cashed by them on February 15thThe money due Ms*** has to come directly from the finance company because it is their insuranceIf Ms*** has not received her check, she should contact the finance company directlyWe apologize for any delay since it was outside the norm on how we process insurance refunds.Thanks

I am responding to Mr ***'s complaintMr *** purchased a GM Certified used car from our dealershipMost used vehicles will have a blemish or scratch on it, but there are savings with the purchase of used over newMr *** had the vehicle for several days before the deal was finalizedThen
several days after finalizing the deal, Mr *** complained about the scratches and the windshieldThe vehicle scratches have already been touched up and we agreed to fix the windshield when our windshield repairer returned from vacationNot to inconvenience Mr ***, we will have our repairer do the repairs at his house or place of businessIf he would like to have the scratches looked at again by our touch up person, we will gladly take care of that as wellThe GM Certified Used Car program has stringent guidelines, and this vehicle passed all of the guidelinesWe will have our salesperson contact Mr *** to arrange the details

As I stated in my original complaint after I ask for the [redacted] and received an [redacted] vehicle history report that stated no problems. I made a comment, no problems huh, the sales consultant said no problems unless someone had some work done that knows somebody and didn't repot it. And that someone was Royal Chevrolet. I gave Royal Chevrolet a deposit of [redacted] on February 21, 2017 to hold the vehicle while I thought about it. I returned the next day to purchase the vehicle and I did . I think Royal Chevrolet had able time to tell me they had installed a used transmission before I made my purchase. When I returned the vehicle the first time of many, they gave my an invoice[redacted](see attached) that showed a used transmission installed on November 4, 2016 with a 3yr parts and labor warranty. They should have let me make the choice on whether or not I wanted to purchase a [redacted] vehicle with just [redacted] miles on it with a used transmission.
