Moving company did not deliver all items and knew it they sent a picture to truck driver with the rest of our furniture in a storage unit.Prestige was hired by us to pack and move us from Florida to Ohio, we received a binding estimate for7400.00 on Nov.19 2015 They showed up at our house Dec.28th to pack and move our furniture to storage and told us we had to much so we had to pay 4700 more for everything. They returned on the 29th to finish the job but sadly did not pack and take everything. Husband had to rent a truck and call in some friends to finish what we have paid them for with over another 1000.00.Contacted them to deliver furniture on the 30th of Jan.2016 contacted by [redacted] (CS) person on the 25th saying the driver should call us on friday no truck or contact then they told us they had 21 days to deliver. Contacted on the 3rd of Feb. from a truck driver that he would be here on the 4th he did not leave Florida until the 1st.Had to pay 4700 before our stuff would be unloaded they had a list of our items on the truck that myself and my Aunt checked off as it was being unloaded and noted any damage that we could see at the time. After the load was unloaded many items we did not receive and many items had been damaged that I am unable to replace. The truck driver contacted the company and they sent him a picture of some more of our items sitting in a storage unit in Florida. I have emailed them about not receiving everything and all of the damage and have received no response the last email I sent was on 02/08/2016.All of the reviews I have seen on line all of the bad ones are from women. We have asked for the owners name or the presidents name so I can go over there heads to resolve our issue and to receive our items I am not getting an answer. Our sales rep was [redacted] out of Miramar, Florida our Customer Service rep is [redacted] out of Miramar Fl. [redacted] is the financial person that I was dealing with in the endMy Order Number is VAXXXXXX job #XXXXXXXDot#XXXXXXXMC-XXXXXXDesired SettlementWe would like the rest of our items the furniture they still have that they showed us a picture of, the items that did not come off the truck that was listed to be on the truck and all my damaged items paid for and money back for things they did not do.150 to bring up a riding lawn mower2000. for a full pack when we packed half of the house before they came plus all my damaged items paid for and we haven,t even finished unpacking.Business Response we did delievr the remaining items and we apologize that they had to be delivered in a separate truck because of the shipment being larger than estimated ALSO the client can file a claim for damagesConsumer Response We have filed many claim forms and I would still like to know where the rest of our items are the claim forms should be arriving to many people this week and the load larger then expected is bull a picture was taken of truck after unloaded and sent to company. This company is nothing but bad people and I would like the rest of my items.

This moving company has lied, taken my money, raised my fees without my consent and still have not delivered my goods.I felt with this company for a move from MN to Tx. My move was supposed to take place on 3/5/16 with a back up date of 3/6/16. This company didn't not contact me on Friday as promised to give me the pickup time of my furniture. I missed my leave time to get on the rode to Texas Saturday as I had to sit in my drive way ALL repeatly calling this company to find out what was going on with my move. I called this company over 17 times on Saturday and also emailed. I finally used my sons phone number to make a fake estimate which I right away received a call back. I then asked them why haven't they been in touch with me and that I need my $615 deposit refunded. [redacted] apologized and told me he was unaware the driver has not been in touch with me. He gave me his cellphone and told me he would find out where the driver was and he would call me back. A few hours later [redacted] contacted me and let me know they have a major issue with the driver and they didn't know what was going on with him. He told me they had a new driver on place and my items would be picked up Sunday between 6-8pm. At this point I had a friend in place to meet my movers so that I would get on the road to Texas. On Sunday the company did not call and did not show up. I again called them repeatedly and texted the number given by [redacted]. I was very frustrated, upset and my blood pressure was high. Monday [redacted] called and told me the driver was behind in IL and would not be able to come until Tuesday morning. Now my friend helping with the move has to work and cannot take off for this situation. I found a different that was able to leave work to meet these drivers. My cousin [redacted] met with the drivers who them moved my items. They wrapped my TVs and beds as promised in the contract. At be end of packing my truck they gave my cousin a bill to give to me stating I owe them an additional $2078. I was supposed to pay then the final $600 when then delivery took place. They noted the charges for wrapping my TVs and beds plus I had more boxes then estimated. They didn't call to verify if I had an additional $1500 to pay them. Now they have my belongings they are telling me they don't know when my items would be delivered to Texas. I made it clear when I made this contract I needed my items before 3/13/16. I start my new job and I have no time to miss work. I let the company know again on Monday 3/7 if they can't deliver by this date I would need my money back, so I could find another company. They packed up my belongings and then told me the next day, they need to find a new driver and they are not sure about delivering my belongings. I had this conversation with [redacted]. He would not give me an eta or any money off of my bill for these issues and I asked him to remove the fees for charging me for wrapping my belongings (which originally I was told were included). I don't know what to do beside have the police waiting with me for my belongings. Please help resolve this issue with this company.Desired SettlementI would like my move discounted or free. There is no other resolution we can have because they already have my items on the truck. And they have $1200 of my money. These people still today have not returned my calls as promised to let me know when my delivery will take place. They say they MAY deliver next week. I do have extra money to spend living in hotels and eating because my items where not delivered as promised. I also don't understand how they pack up a truck that they claim is $1500 OVER what was quoted but didn't make a call to verify that was OK to proceed.Business Response We did complete the service as contracted and the client did sign for all the charges which were confirmed and accurate we apologize if we failed to meet the clients expectations

Delivery date was supposed to be June 11, 2016. I called the company several times a day since Saturday with no response and no delivery. Company won't return any calls. Left several messages and emails and no return on any of them. I'm worried they stole my belongings. Desired SettlementI need to hear back from them and have my delivery this week.

Bait and switch scamI hired a moving company that went by the name of Prestige Worldwide Moving whom claimed they were not brokers they hired their own drivers and movers and owned their own trucks. They also we rated by the Revdex.com with good ratings. I received a price from them based on my inventory and was told as long as the inventory didn't change this is how much it would cost. They required a non-refundable deposit of 35%. On the day of the move 2 guys showed up to my house on foot and told me they couldn't get the truck to my house. They looked at my stuff and then told me that based on what they were seeing this move was now going to be over $4000 (it was originally $1687) and that didn't include a shuttle to get my stuff to the truck. I obviously declined as I don't have that kind of money. The company obviously wouldn't give me my deposit back and wouldn't even talk with anyone. These are a bunch of crooks that are operating a bait and switch type scheme.Desired SettlementRefund of deposit

The rates are extremely reasonable with no hidden surprises in the end as oppose to other moving services. My furniture arrived safely with no scratches/damages, and the staff was super efficient, extremely communicative and overall just so pleasant as they arrived on time and got straight to work.","pos-1

movers never showed up for pick up.contrac t signed and deposit of $406 given for a move from cincinnati oh to NYC. Pick up was to be 1/2 or 1/3 with the driver calling day before to confirm pick up. Never called and never showed up. MANY messages left with no return call.Desired SettlementI definitely want my $406 back but also want to make sure that it is known that this business is at best unreliable and probably a scam

This company is anything but prestige. They are very cordial and polite until they get the initial down payment and a signed contract and it goes down hill from there. For what they charge you expect better service. I had to keep calling to get a delivery date which changed several times and when I did get a date with a 2 hour window for delivery that did not happened. My 2 hour window between the hours of 2- 4 PM ended up being the 10:30 AM the next morning. The driver was in my area around 9:30 PM that night but had problems getting moving helpers because of the late hour. I asked to be compensated but needless to say that was totally ignored and still have not heard anymore from them as I am writing this review. This company picks up your furniture but it is transferred over to another company all together. I was told at the time of contract the same person who picked up the furniture would deliver. (FALSE)! I am very disappointed with this company and regret using them. The level of service is extremely poor.","neg-1

Prestige failed to arrive or even contact me during my contractual pickup window, and then refused to refund my deposit.I contracted Prestige to move our apartment from California to Massachusetts. The contractual pickup window was Saturday/Sunday, February 13/14. I paid a deposit of $775 on Feb 10.No one showed up or contacted us on Saturday or Sunday, despite multiple calls and emails to Prestige. As of Monday morning, we still had no contact from Prestige. Our lease was up on Monday and we *had* to be out of our apartment by the end of the day. I rented a truck from uHaul Monday morning, packed it up myself, and began driving across the country. Prestige called me back midday on Monday. They told me that "the driver was sick or something" and that's why the pickup hadn't happened. I explained that that was no reason to not contact me, and that I had been forced to rent a truck and do the job myself. I asked for my deposit back. I was told that would be checked in to and he'd call me back in a few minutes. No one returned my phone call. Two days later, on Feb 17, I called Prestige back and asked on the status of my refund. I was told that the deposit was non-refundable.On Feb 18, I emailed Prestige and again asked for a refund. The reply was a copy/paste of the text from the contract regarding their right to a pickup window of 48 hours due to acts of God:"The Carrier also reserves reserves the right to pick up within 48 hours of the reserved time frame to allow for delays caused by act of God such as severe weather or other uncontrollable circumstances."I replied that a driver 'getting sick or something' was clearly not an Act of God, and that even if an Act of God had occurred, I should have been notified in a timely manner. Since Prestige took my money and then provided me with no service whatsoever, I expected my return to be refunded. I have received no response. My job number was VXXXXXXX.Desired SettlementA refund of my deposit in the amount of $775.Business Response We apologize for Mr [redacted] inconvenience while the deposit is non refundable we would apply the deposit to a future move if the client would like Consumer Response I would never do business with this company again, their response is not acceptable to me. The only acceptable resolution is a refund.
