The company did not fulfil their contracted datesThe company picked up my personal property and have been unreachable I contracted a move with East Coast Moving & Storage for an August 19th or 20th moveMy contract was not adhered to and East Coast Moving & Storage and its "sister" company changed the move to SundayOn Sunday I received a phone call at 4:20pm stating they had issues with their truck and were behind with the other movesMy move was then moved to Monday, August 22nd at 7:00amGlobal Movers employees arrived and told me I had more things than their truck would hold and that they would have to come back with another truckThe movers left with my things to an unknown location, without providing me any paperwork That same day, I did not hear from anyone from Global MoversUpon reaching out I was told that the earliest they could return was Wednesday, August 24thThis was unacceptable, my move had already been moved multiple days because of their lack of commitme

Movers damaged my furniture, delivered days after pick up, promised 4-days Charged extra money at time of pick up or would not pick up furnitur Charged extra amount than quote at time of pick up otherwise would not load truck Promised delivery days repeatedly and finally delivered days later on thanksgiving morning! Damaged several pieces of furniture, list kitchen table and offered $for all damaged and list items Worst moving experience of my life Never use again

Was quoted $4500, at arrival told $10,000, then price $8000, then forced to pay cash or goods withheld at delivery for increased amount than quoted

I gave a detailed/ itemized list to *** over the phone and when the movers came to pack my stuff on the day of my move, the quote tripled
Its one thing to miss a quote but to triple the cost on the day you need to move is ridiculous! I outlined everything I had to *** over the phone and even stating I had oversized furnitureI am not a professional mover so I don't know how much cubic feet I have but when the movers showed up they immediately wanted me to sign a contract before we had even gone over inventoryAfter I tried to explain to the mover that was not going to work he immediately got defensive and walked outI tried to then contact The company and they refused to refund my deposit all the while keeping me on the phone for minutes only to say they were going to have the same mover call me back in which he didn't
