I'm aware that an [redacted] has filed a complaint with your office.  Based on her prior actions, I am not surprised by this news. Now, apparently she's married to a man named [redacted] aka [redacted] aka [redacted].  He had multiple charges in Cape Girardeau County Court and...

Cape Girardeau Municipal Court.  I quoted an initial retainer of $500.00, based on the charges in the County Court. I later discovered the charges in the City Court, and, trying to be helpful, I entered my appearance on those free of charge.  I subsequently spent hours working on these cases, while in the mean time, Mr. [redacted] was picked up on warrants in the Chicago, IL area.  I also spent time working on helping him get of jail up there and make his way back to Cape Girardeau. While all of this was going on, [redacted] was constantly contacting my office on his behalf.  Apparently, after her sixth of seventh call and my staff firmly asking her to stop contacting us, she appeared in my office in a fit of rage.  I attempted to explain who I was, by introducing myself as [redacted]'s attorney.  She then demanded to speak with Mr. [redacted], over and over again and she wasn't speaking to anyone but him.  Dumbfounded and unimpressed by her actions, I asked her to leave my building immediately, which she refused.  I asked again, with the threat of removal by law enforcement.  She continued to badger my staff and at this point, that's when we called the Cape Girardeau police department to report the disturbance and trespass.  Once the police showed up, they removed her from the building.  The officer instructed me that this was not the first time he's dealt with a similar issue.  After this incident, I decided it was best that I withdraw from Mr. [redacted]'s case.  The money was not refunded due to it being earned by my office.  We have a fee agreement, police report, billable time slips and the like to support that position. Mrs. [redacted]' complaint is fraudulent and should be treated as the same.  She has now wasted even more of my time that I could've invested in another client with a much more worthy cause.
