The tubes of the chimes are made of galvanized steelThey are prone to a little oxdation where they have been cut and drilledAlso internally once the zinc paint has worn awayThe oxidation actually forms a very thin layer which acts as protection against further oxidationThis is completely normal, and never has been an issue before in the last years of businessThis will not affect the toneThe material is Electrical Metal Tubing, EMT, and is commonly used for exterior wiring purposes as a wiring conduitIf you wish a refund, please return to Beaconcrest, Austin TX All shipping expenses will be your responsibility

Just wanted to let you know that I heard from [redacted] today via email and they told me that the package they had...

sent to me had been returned to them because there was no one at my chosen address to sign for it. DUH. There was nothing in the shipment info on the website that said they would send it with a requirement for signature. Oh well. They asked me if I would like it resent with a waiver so that no signature is needed, and I responded YES!So I think (as long as they actually send the package back to me) that the issue is resolved.Thank you SO MUCH for being the fire under their patooties to get some response from them! You are the best!!--[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I would like you to please reopen the case regarding [redacted]. I was so disappointed after I heard from them and then the whole thing stalled again. It has me completely baffled that someone would go to the lengths of getting a UPS label set up, only to not actually send the item labeled. So weird.I don't really know what else I can do, but I want it at least documented someplace that this vendor isn't reliable and that people should think twice before sending them money for their products.
