I called the customer and spoke with her.And after doing some research, *** *** *** will not cover her vehicle ; the ESCL ( Electronic Steering Control Lock) has a warranty that expired on 4/25/2015.Ms*** also mentioned to me that Nissan Consumer Affairs also contacted her today and
they said that they cannot provide her a warranty extension.I contacted the FOM (Fix Operations Manager) for Nissan to see if we can get any goodwill on her vehicle and because it’s been almost two years ago from that expiration dateNissan just cannot do anything at this point. I refunded Ms***’s diagnostic fee of $and she sent a tow truck today and picked up her car.I also offered her discounts on both parts and labor if she does decide to get her vehicle fix with us.I mentioned that if she decide to look for another Nissan, that I would be willing to help her get another one at employee pricing. Please let me know what else I have to do with regards to this complaint
