Review: My daughter and I stayed at Motel 6 in Cameron Park last Saturday night, 27 August 2014. We purchased our room on a bed and breakfast basis. "Breakfast" consisted of coffee only.When we left we checked out and requested a receipt. The hotel clerk gave us a receipt for "$0.00" dollars, when we paid over $87. Upon speaking to the manager, she said that because we booked online, that the online company should have given us a receipt. She then told us that she would mail us a receipt within the next 2 days. She refused to give us any type of receipt at all with the correct amount paid.It is now Friday 5 September and we still have not received any receipts from the web company or from Motel 6. So we called Motel 6's regional office and they refused to give us a receipt. I thought that in California, that it is state law that a receipt be provided upon completion of services. What the heck is this?Desired Settlement: We want our receipt immediately or a refund for the night we spent at Motel 6.
