We lived in Oxford, MS and our children attended daycare at Mother Goose. We moved in May 2019. When I received my tax sheet from them this year, I noticed that I have a negative balance on my account. I called Jan 9th to ask why no one told me for 4 months that I had been paying too much, and *** ( the new director I suppose) told me she would have to meet with the owner. I have called every week for 5 weeks to check on this. Today, *** told me that they would not refund me because I should have checked on that sort of thing before I moved. I am so livid. First, I specifically double checked the amount I was supposed to pay and I was told that it was the correct amount. Second, I paid that amount every month and no one told me I was paying too much. Third, I did ask on April 26th 2019 which was my sons' last day there, if there was any account things I needed to clear up and if there was any paperwork I needed to fill out. I was told no, that everything was good for us to leave.
I have heard from other moms since I left that they have been having money issues with Mother Goose, but I didn't have any issues until now...
I also emailed Mother Goose and asked for my 2018 payments as well, because I must have been overpaying then as well, I just don't have proof. They never sent me a 2018 tax form, so my tax person just had us give her a total amount paid. I initially emailed back and asked for my 2018 payments and never heard back.
I would like to mention that they have never called me back when they said they would, or responded to my emails. They only thing they have done is emailed me my 2019 tax form.
I am appalled at this company and quite frankly, after hearing some of the things that have happened since we moved, I am terrified that I let my children ever attend there.
Their refusal to refund me my negative balance is completely unacceptable. They would have never allowed me to miss a payment to them. Any business owner with integrity would have apologized and mailed a check
Last summer we went to through a change is administrations. Mrs. left in April before I (***) took over as director. The previous director stated she never heard Mrs. ask about her balance. She asked the assistant that is no longer here. We will mail her out a check by the end of this month. We will not be giving her that tax statement for 2018 since she should have asked for that last year in 2019. I did send her a emailing asking for her correct mailing address.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. With regard to my 2018 tax statement, I did ask for it and never received it.
