All coachmen has done is tell me Dometic, who is the manufacturer, will call meThey have not called, written or emailed me with any attempt to make resolution!I did contact the manufacturer of the compressor (LG) in Korea and got a cut sheet on the compressorTheir specs say the compressor is a eer unit that produces 13,BTU using R410a refrigerant.So this will proceed to legal action in Federal Court as it violates the Federal Maroney law as well as Federal law regarding the lowest efficiency rating that a unit can have and be sold in the USA The standard as of the date of the sale was SeerI have given all parties ample opportunity to respond and nothing has been doneNo solution has been offered!Regards,

We were told that everything worked.....when in fact it didn't and still doesn't!  Total misrepresentation!!

MHS has decided to address only the AC issue. While it may be true that the Motor home AC industry may have different requirements than residential or commercial units in regard to the SEER it still does not address the issue of the AC unit not producing the BTU that is stated on the window sticker. I am a professional Energy engineer (ret) and have tested the unit. It only has a 13,000 BTU compressor in it and produces around 11,500 BTU and not the 15,000 that Dometic states.Now why would Coachmen offer to replace the AC unit if I'm wrong?No one has mentioned the kitchen cabinet being hung wrong, the roof membrane is coming lose, the downleg of the trim on the passengers side has warped, the lower drawer of the kitchen cabinets is about a half an inch out of line because the front of the drawer is fastened to the drawer crooked. Coachmen has said they would send the the downleg and the drawer but so far no news (past 30 days so far).I sent MHS the cut sheet from LG showing the compressor is just a 13,000 BTU unit. No response!Coachmen won't address the scratch in the paint on the hood saying that is up to the dealer to fix and I have to take the coach back to Texas!So that Is why I think MHS should recall the unit!
