I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This company has performed in a manner that defrauded a customer - on not one but two vehicles Efforts by the customer to address these concerns was met with very unprofessional behavior by the office staff, followed by threatening and harassing behaviors The company's response to try to resolve this issue was to continue to offer illegal solutions including attempting to change an erroneous sale agreement and to extend temporary tags because a title could not be produced This company needs to do the right thing and refund this customer the money that was taken under pretenses and offer an apology for the unprofessional and threatening behavior that was demonstrated toward this customerThis company has not been transparent in their business practices and indeed has lost the trust of the customer It is time to move on and make the customer whole by issuing a refund and an apology Regards, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[redacted] provided proof of insurance to [redacted] upon purchase of the vehicle.  The processes stated by the company respondent do not address the failure of this company to abide by legitimate business practices on not one but two vehicles purchased at this company.  This response does not address the false statements regarding working with [redacted] to resolve these issues without additional cost nor harassment and threatening behavior that occurred over several days via phone calls to [redacted] personal phone, calling his place of employment and coming to [redacted] workplace.  These behaviors demonstrate instead a company that is being held accountable for failure to follow transparent business practices and instead decide to threaten harm to a 'customer' who had on several occasions requested proper attention to these matters.  This company has indicated in several of their statements that they took advantage of an opportunity to defraud a person needing a vehicle - but instead places the blame on  the customer.  The respondent demonstrates no legitimate processes to correct these wrongs.  The respondent also failed to mention that [redacted] returned the car to this company to end the days of harassment and to explore his options for reliable transportation. It is now time to progress to the next step and contact and provide evidence to the State Attorney General.

Dear [redacted],        My name is [redacted] and I am the Finace Manager here at Northwest Moters, Im writing you in response to the above complaint number filed by [redacted] on behalf of [redacted] (3rd party)yes [redacted] is the employee that no longer works for us due to his poor ethics and ability to do his job thouroghly.  charges have been filed with the Colerain police department and goes before the grand jury Oct 2nd 2015. As for [redacted] case he came in to purchase a vehicle and our compnay was working with him, we have signs on all vehicles they are sold AS IS and another sign on the door stating that all deposits and down payments are non refundable. The customer in this complaint was fully aware of this and he himself test drove the vehicle and agreed to drive it off the lot, there was no records of any complaints of the vehicle working improperly as I am confident the owner is always willing to work things out, generally customer buys the part needed and some agreement is made with labor cost as we agree to do the labor on some cases. however the car was in fine working order as I myself was the repo agent hired to recover the vehicle before I took on this position here in the office. [redacted] was asked to come back in to finish his paper work and to bring in his proof of insurance for the vehicle, [redacted] failed to do this on several occasions which delayed us ion being able to fund the vehicle and transfer any title paper work needed for him. I made contact with him at [redacted]. he was rude and uncoroperative with me and refused to return my phone calls he assured me upon my leaving he would call me that evening, and never did, the car is currently repoed as of 9/5/2015 and [redacted] has not returned to the lot to work any agreement out to obtain the vehicle back. Paperwork and insurance is a state requirement in Ohio and unproper paperwork can and will result in our compant taking back the vehicle. Had [redacted] came in and completed his neccassary paper work with us and provided the insurance required, he would not have been up for repo and as long as he maintained the requirements of payment he would still have his vehicle today. In all contracts we type up we include a copy of the buyers guide which states all vehicles are sold as is. the state of Ohio has no Lemon Laws as to buying used cars and they suggest as do we that you look over the vehicle and have a professional do as well if you are not able to determine this yourself when buying a car. lemon laws in the state of Ohio are only attached for NEW VEHICLE Purchases.  in our paper work we also include a form called a WE OWE where after you test drive a vehicle u must sign and that is where the Seller and Buyer determine what if any work we agree to do prior to you leaving with the vehicle this forrm was signed buy [redacted] and NOTHING was promised as for Maintance. again once he left the lot with his 30 day tag he would have been required to come back with proof of insurance to finish any necessary paper work all of which he was unable to comply with. I will be faxing you over several  a few of the forms he did not come back to sign these are just a few not to mention he didnt complete his finacial paper work which is needed to  get him funded by the bank. we do not give the customer copies of unsigned documents once all paper work is completed and secured we will make them a copy for thier records. Mr Hollstein was aware he had unfinished paper work and the deal would fall thru if he didnt comply. Ohio requires INSURANCE as do all Funding companies we work with and deals are not funded without proper paperwork. we can not risk customers not complying with State laws. So in closing had [redacted] returned phone calls provided insurance, and came in to complete paperwork needed he would have never of had an issue and the deal would have been funded but due to his neglagence he was unable to get funded because we could not get the proper paperwork into the bank. He has had over 3 weeks to do this and he did not call or come in to speak with anyone on this matter. If you have any other questions reguarding this matter please feel free to contact me at 513-742-0900 Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm Sincerely,[redacted]
