LBC Auto Sales has been conducting business with Motorlot for the past 6 months since they bought out ZipZoomAuto. We were a ZipZoomAuto loyal customer for 5 years without any problems or issue. Mr. Bachelder automatically charged LBC Auto Sales $140 on November 10th, $105 on November 10th, $133 on November 10th, $349 on November 13th, and $220 on October 21st. The disputed amount sums to a total of $947, not $1,062 as claimed by MotorLot. Postings where in Houston, TX (which we didn’t authorize as well) and others in San Francisco, CA without LBC Auto Sales consent. These transactions were processed without our authorization after MotorLot admitted it was their mistake and that they would NOT charge LBC Auto Sales for those accidental postings. In order for Motorlot to post the Craigslist postings on our behalf, LBC Auto Sales must pre-purchase the postings (also known as “blocks”) for those cities before posting. LBC Auto Sales never purchased blocks for the disputed Houston, TX postings or the San Francisco, CA postings. Keep in mind LBC Auto Sales operates in Houston, TX and the majority of the Craigslist postings were submitted and posted in San Francisco, CA where LBC Auto Sales did not purchase authorized blocks for that city, nor does not conduct any business or marketing. Mr. Bachelder is unable to provide any legal documentation stating our authorization for the San Francisco and Houston postings. We disputed the transactions as a result and MotorLot was unable to provide proof to our credit card company that those transactions were legitimate. Craigslist clearly states that each post is $5, not $7 as mentioned by Mr. Bachelder.
