Purchased a Car from [redacted] in December within the first days check engine light came onDealership will not return calls to fix the problem My husband test drove a vehicle and at the time of the test drive the service engine light came on we were told this would be addressed prior to purchaseWhen we went to sign the paperwork for the vehicle we were told that the car had been fully serviced new tire (which was flat prior to test drive)Oil change which is why we were told the check engine light was on and a battery had been addressedWe picked the car up on Dec12th and the service engine light was off and came on again on Dec 14th we called [redacted] and for a week he would not return our callsWe left voicemails until finally I called from a different number and used a different name and he picked upI explained to him what was going on and he informed me that they checked the vehicle and nothing showed up but sensors(why wasn't that fixed)And that the car

On 12/31/We purchased our 3rd vehicle from MotorMax We purchased our first car from them years ago When we purchased our first car, our credit was less than perfect and they worked hard to get us the right financing and we left that same day with an exceptional vehicle For four years we did our routine maintenance and there were no significant issues We were so happy that a year ago we purchased our second vehicle there Again for the past year, besides routine maintenance it continues to be a great vehicle This whole time they told us that we were on our way to building our credit, and we felt it So as we were getting close to paying off the first car we purchased from them, we decided to see what they could do for a newer vehicle What happened blew us away We went in with a and came out with an amazingly beautiful Could we have gone to one of the other thousand car lots in West Michigan, sure Could we have got similar car somewhere else, maybe Would we receive the same level of customer service, no!! I don't know of another used car lot where you walk in the door and your greeted with the same car sales person you had the last time you were there That says a lot They have amazing vehicles, if you have not been there, get there If you have not bought a vehicle from them, if you purchased from somewhere else, I'm sorry....Don't be sorry, get there and you will find out for yourself that MotorMax of GR is the best place to purchase your next car

When we purchased the CUV, we had a few repair items in the terms of the contractI do not live locally so I had to leave my vehicle for what was supposed to be one dayI called every day for a week and given a different excuse every timeI had to go pick it up and conceeded one repair so I could have my vehicle backWhen we went to pick it up, the salesmen were rude and left us to wander the property looking for the truckWhen we finally found it, we had to wait for the mechanic to bring the keysWhen he brought them out, he reeked of booseAs we were driving home, we realized nothing had been fixedI called the dealership and spoke with the salesman and the manager who was very rude and said that I could drop it off againInstead, we decided to take it elsewhere since we no longer had any faith in their "mechanics Bill of health." What we found was unbelievableThere was so much wrong with itI called them and got the run around and finally the worst treatment I've ever had in my life I bought this vehicle with my disabilityIt has cost me 2x what I paid for it in repairs and I'm still terrified to dive it but I have no choice because of my fixed incomeThey took advantage of a young woman who was in a terrible accident and needed a reliable vehicle Please do not buy from themIf you must, have the vehicle checked thoroughly before you do because once they have your money, you are dead to them

Found my dream car at MotorMaxSales guy was super friendly and helpfulFinancing guy was very personable and willing to work with us on some upgrades the vehicle neededAgreed on a price and payment we were happy withAsked flat out if it there was any possibility that the interest rate or payment would change and was told "this is a worst case scenario, the rate may even be better"We left with the car and an appointment to finalize the following dayWhen we arrived the next day the salesman had a completely different demeanorHe tried to get us to sign on a loan that had a 3% higher interest rate and a month shorter term increasing our payment by nearly $a monthWe walked awayThis felt like a complete scam

My issue is that they claim that they will "throw in a warranty" turns out I paid heavily for it Also their mechanic hand tightened my lug nuts
Salesman claimed that they would throw in the warranty I believe that he took advantage of me by not going line by line down the charges, which in hindsight was my mistake He never once verbally told me how much I was paying for the vehicle
Also, they out on new brake pads before I left As I was driving the next day knew something was wrong and took it to the nearest shop They determined that the lug nuts on the tire had only been hand tightened When I brought this to the attention of Automax, they tried to pass the blame, but could not

This place will tell you anything but the truth. emailed them about a truck and asked if theres any issues, the next morning they called and left a voicemail saying there is no issues, very nice truck. so I call back and am told again no issues, so I went to look at it. little did they know I live 3 minutes away, got there and they were jump starting it, guy said he was just going to test drive it, they havnt even drove it! so I drove it, brakes sucked, passenger window doesn't work, gas gauge broke, radio broke,passenger mirror smashed, pulls way to the left, clicking inside, major electrical problem and more. I told Ryan I didn't appreciate being lied to and he responded I told you I wasn't AWARE of any issues, double lie. went home and listned to my vmail to make sure and he did state there is NO issues. very dishonest and very disrespectful, only cares about $$ and treat the customer like an it to feed their family. shady and dirty business

They have amazing vehicles, if you have not been there, get there. If you have not bought a vehicle from them, if you purchased from somewhere else, I'm sorry....Don't be sorry, get there and you will find out for yourself that MotorMax of GR is the best place to purchase your next car.

I bought a beautiful Buick Enclave from them and I absolutely love it! I had an extremely easy transaction with them and the very few flaws I found, they fixed within a couple days! Absolutely worth anybody and everybody checking out! I will definitely be referring family and friends to them!

He tried to get us to sign on a loan that had a 3% higher interest rate and a 12 month shorter term increasing our payment by nearly $100 a month. We walked away. This felt like a complete scam.
