Mount Architecture, PC

Review: I [redacted], entered into an Agreement on June 21, 2013, with Mount Architecture, PC, ([redacted] Mount, Principal and Owner) and who I will refer to from time to time as Mount. That Agreement provides that Mount will provide me with a number of architectural services and related planning, all of which are necessary in order for me to have a sitting room, bathroom and laundry facilities added to my residence in Newtown, PA. (I need this addition because of my health.) Mount is fully aware of this need.) Mount's initial step in this process was to complete a set of architectural building plans that I would submit to [redacted] authorities in order for me to receive a for a building permit. Upon signing of the Agreement, Mount requested that I pay him an advance of $800.00 and shortly thereafter Mount requested that I make another payment of $885.00. I promptly made both of those payments for a total payment of $1685.00.On or about November 11, 2013, I met with Mount who provided me with a set of preliminary plans for my consideration and input. At that meeting I advised Mount of certain requirements that had to be included along with certain suggestions, many of which I had previously discussed with him. He entered those comments, suggestions and requirements into his computer and left. That was the last time I have ever heard from Mount. Please note that I have repeatedly tried to contact Mount through numerous phone calls, e-mails, letters through the U.S. Postal Service and by [redacted]. He has never once replied and or contacted me. Never! Further I have never received final plan specifications or any other services for which I had contracted with him to provide me. This delay and failure to perform by Mount has forced me to postpone this needed building project, it has increased significantly the cost of this project, caused me terrible stress which I do not need as an 80 year old, and has been damaging to my health.Desired Settlement: I want Mount to provide me with the building plan specifications that include the suggestions and requirements that I provided to him at our meeting on or about November 11, 2013. Those specifications should be both in hard copy and in computer software file format. Thank you.
