[redacted],   In response to the conversation that you had with [redacted] we respond as follows: You stated that she claimed that items #1,2,3,5,8 were all completed which is part of the truth. This project was started to resolve damage from a leaky roof. We understand that the major complaint was the delays of this project which caused by both [redacted] and the reality faced by workers on this project. The request for a full refund after workers on this project removed damaged structural elements and replaced them with new functional elements that you state she describes as completed is not fair and doesn’t make sense.   Further, we have evidence of the completion of items #1,2,3,5 but also the window sills not trim for item #6 (which would be part of finishing), and we also agree with Item #8. This work alone totals $5,375 worth of work plus required extra time and materials that has actually been completed. To accomplish these tasks all required materials were purchased including: Sheet rook materials, insulation (even though she upgraded the quality), windows sills, metal studs, and all related materials with had delivery charges. Specifically, there was extra work that was added as follows   1.            Second floor repair of water damage to wall & ceiling in bedroom  caused by another contractor. 2.            Failed work by her plumber – Caused removal and re-installation of a wall. 3.            Failure to move existing furniture and rubbish – Caused delay and  we had to pay for moving expenses. 4.            Additional sound proofing installation completed with additional labor. 5.            Garbage removal costs were more than doubled due to multiple trips  for loading and dumping construction debris. 6.            Plumbing work required was additional to move pipe discovered when  moving closet. 7.            A variety of changes throughout the project that caused extra expenses.   The sum of this extra work is over $3,000 and was completed as requested. This would total over $8,000 of time and expenses. However, upon her complaints we responded by agreeing to a settlement of $3,500. The purpose of this settlement was to make up for time delays caused by misunderstanding of this project between client and contractor.  This settlement would allow both parties a fair resolution, and not unduly enrich one party or the other.     kind regards,   Mount-Trial Construction

As Mr. Leeford F[redacted] has stated I have known his son for many years which makes the behavior of this company even more despicable. As far as me stated the FACTS about this situation on social media I brought awareness to my [redacted] friends so that they wouldn't find themselves in the same situation with this company. I find it extremely hard to believe that the President of Mount Trial Construction wouldn't be aware of company business when my checks were cashed under the company name first and foremost, the first check being cashed in July of 2014 and I also contacted Mr. Leeford F[redacted] myself. He did agree to pay back $3500 of the money owed to me not to save his supposed good name but because I was scammed. As far as my grammar and being embarrased he should be ashamed as well as his son, wife, son's wife, and everyone else involved with this family that he has a grown son that he allows to run around ripping people off while he has no actual real employment and still lives in his father's basement. If his son had any ambition he wouldn't as well as his father have found himself in this situation. I'll take my "bad and embarrassing" grammar. I pay my own mortgage and I don't steal or rip people off. I can provide documentation and receipts as proof of everything stated in this complaint. There was no extra garbage. I'm not here to speak on hearsay lets see paperwork and documentation. This is business. I trusted this company because as Mr. Leeford said I knew his son when were kids. This has been the biggest mistake of my life. This company doesn't keep their word obviously because after even agreeing to pay me $3500 after six months I was given nothing. There was no dumpster because the company said it would be easier for them to use a van. If the dumpster was absolutely needed they could've decided they were unable to move forward until they were able to have accommodations for the dumpster. That's a poor excuse, one of many poor excuses for their deplorable behavior. After careful research alot of the business practices were illegal like not having their license number on documentation provided to me. The cost of trash was also outlined in the documents. Where is the amendment or signed paperwork for the extra garbage. When dealing with thousands of dollars we aren't being friends. I hired a company, MountTrial Construction. Now because of their actions they're trying to cover things up but documentation speaks not word of mouth. I haven't received a quarter of the work that was supposed to be completed I have receipts and also checks that were cashed and signed paperwork from the parties I had to pay out of my pocket to complete the work. I'm owed exactly what I'm requesting and nothing less. This company should truly be fined or band from continuing to conduct business in my opinion. Mount Trial continues to blatantly lie instead of acknowledging their wrong doing. My major complaint against this company in addition to delays is the fact that I was ripped off by them and they are completely dishonest. The only items completed per the agreement were items 1,2,3,5,and 8 in the amount of $4175. Mount Trial was to provide material. There was no dlivery charges discussed or on my documentation provided by them. I had to buy materials because after giving the company 50% down I was told by Mount Trial that there was no money to buy the additional material for my job. Which brings me to the next lie told by Mount Trial. I didn't hire or start any project with Mount Trial to resolve damage from a leaky roof. They were hired to do the work outlined in the documentation provided. A matter of fact my home was upgraded with new roofing, waterproofing, and stucco of the entire top half of my home in 2013 by a licensed and insured company. The work is still under  warranty. There is no structural damage to my home I wanted to upgrade and have more use of the space. Once again I'd like to point out that Mount- Trial didn't pay the electrician, finisher/ taper, or carpenter (the carpenter did all sheetrock, insulation,any framing work) I did out of my own pocket. The fact that the company wasn't paying these workers who it turns out are not actually employed by Mount Trial was the reason for the delays. I've asked that Mount Trial provide receipts for items purchased for my project as well as documentation (anything agreed and signed off by both of us) and I'm yet to see anything. All that's being displayed is a lot of talk and smoke and mirrors. I'll go through each itemized lie told by Mount Trial below... (Item #1) Mount Trial has never worked in any bedroom in my home on the second floor or any other floor. There's never been a leak in any ceiling in any bedroom of my home. There was a small leak t the bottom of the window in my master bedroom. That window was installed by the company that installed new roofing, waterproofing, and stucco to the entire top portion of my home in 2013. They repaired the leak at no additional cost because the work is still under warranty. I can provide a notarized letter from the owner of the company to prove the repair was done by them. I can also provide the company's name and phone number if Revdex.com would like to speak with them. (Item # 2 and #6) During the demolition of the first floor of my home upon removing a closet a water pipe was discovered. The water pipe was located from floor to ceiling and about 5 to 6 inches away from the living room wall. I asked Mount Trial to move the pipe so that it would be recessed behind the wall, making the wall completely flush. This was discussed in great detail, because I wanted to hang a flat screen tv on the wall. I was told by Mount Trial they would need their plumber to assess the situation and get back to me. I expressed to Mount Trial that unless the water pipe could be recessed behind the wall making the wall completely flush the pipe is NOT to be moved. After their plumber assessed the job I was told what I requested would be done but that isn't what happened. Their plumber moved the pipe about 2 inches away from the wall so it was still protruding defeating the purpose entirely. I was then told a box would have to be built around the pipe. I communicated to Mount Trial that this was unacceptable. I told the company they could have their plumber come back and do what I requested from the beginning or I could find a licensed plumber to do the job properly myself. I was told by Mount Trial to get my own plumber which I did. He moved the pipe to the recessed position so that it would be behind the wall. I can provide the receipt for payment for the work. (Item #3) My furniture has always been in my home. There was no discussion of furniture removal. I was told that my items would be neatly covered. I've provided a couple pictures of my expensive Italian leather furniture to show how Mount Trial treated my things as well as the countertop in my kitchen. If furniture were an issue this should've been discussed prior to the start of the job or there should be some documentation that was signed off by both parties alerting me to the risk. The job could've been postponed if my furniture needed to be removed or if  I didn't agree the job could've been cancelled before it was even started.These are just another example of Mount Trials lies in order to cover up their bad practices and the fact that they tok advantage of me because I'm a single woman. (Item #4) I purchased  ALL the insulation for my project. I was told by Lloyd F[redacted] of Mount Trial that he would take the 4 unused soundboard back to [redacted] in order to exchange it for more sheetrock. Review: ON JULY **,2014 MOUNT-TRIAL BEGAN A CONSTRUCTIN JOB ON MY HOME. I WAS TOLD THE JOB WHICH CONSISTED OF GUTTING THE FIRST FLOOR OF MY HOME, INSULATION, PTTING UP SHEETROCK, INSTALING NEW LIGHTING, PAINTING, INSTALLING MOULDING, AS WELL AS NEW WOOD FLOORS WOULD TAKE 3-4 WEEKS. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS HIRING A LICENSED AND INSURED COMPANY WHICH WORKED WITH A CREW. ON A DAILY BASIS THE SON OF THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY SHOWED UP A MY HOME AND TRIED TO DO THE JOB HIMSELF. I CAUGHT SMOKING MARIJUANA IN MY YARD N NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND SO DID MY MOM WHOM WAS HOUSE SITTING FOR ME WHILE I WAS AT WORK. DURING THE TIME WHEN THEY DID GUT THE FIRST FLOOR THE SON OF THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY WHO'S NAME IS LLOYD HAD TWO OTHER YOUNG MEN WITH HIM WHO HE SAID WERE COMPANY EMPLOYEES. AFTER THE GUTTING I SAW LLOYD COME TO MY HOME NOT WITH THSE SAME TWO GUYS BUT ANOTHER MAN. HE CAME WITH LLOYD FOR ABOUT A WEEK. NOTHING SEEMED TO BE OVING FORWARD. I COMPLAINED TO LLOYD AFTER ABOUT 4 WEEKS OF MY HOME BENG LEFT IN A GUTTED STATE THAT THINGS NEEDED TO MOVE FORWARD. HE WOULDN'T SHOW UP TELLINGME HE DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE TO WATCH HIS KIDS. WHEN I EXPLAIND THAT HIS COMPANY WAS PAID TO DO A JOBHE SHOWED UP AGAIN WITH SOMONE ELSE TO GET TE SHEETRCK WORK DONE.HE ALSO BROUGHT AN ELECTRCIAN TO MY HOME WHO HE TOLD ME WAS ALSO HIS EMPLOYEE. THE ELECTRICIAN TOOK THE BX CABLE OT OF THE CEILING IN MYHOME AND REPLACED IT WITH ROMAX. ROMAX IS ELECTRICAL CABLE THAT I FOUND OUT IS NT ALOUD FOR USE IN [redacted]. I PAID MOUNT-TRIAL OVER $7OOO. THAT AMOUNT INCLUDED A $1000 CHECK FOR ELECTRICAL WORK. I WAS TOLD BY THE ELECTRICIAN THAT HE WAS NEVER PAID ANY OF THE MONEY. WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT THE JOB WOULD BE COMPLETED BY AUG.2014. WHEN ASKEDWHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHECK YOU WERE IVEN. HE SAID " I USED IT FOR NICK NACKS AND ODDS AND ENDS." I HAVE NO IDEA WHA THAT MEANS. Specially, there was excess trash created by this project and problems with the agreed site details. Trash was hauled and disposed instead of the utilization of a dumpster due to [redacted] not making the appropriate accommodations. Additionally, the delays were caused by a variety of delays on both the client and construction crews. i.e.- In construction the removal of garbage for a cli ent usually comes with a cost, in this case due to the familiarity no extra charge when extra trash was incurred. As noted, this is no way to conduct business, but this is the main issue dealt with on this project.The quality of our work and our name has never been questioned and the accusations at this time are irresponsible and disputed. To Whom It May Concern: I'm rejecting the response of Mount Trial Construction as a resolution to my complaint. As Mr. Leeford F[redacted] has stated I have known his son for many years which makes the behavior of this company even more despicable. As far as me stated the FACTS about this situation on social media I brought awareness to my [redacted] friends so that they wouldn't find themselves in the same situation with this company. I find it extremely hard to believe that the President of Mount Trial Construction wouldn't be aware of company business when my checks were cashed under the company name first and foremost, the first check being cashed in July of 2014 and I also contacted Mr. Leeford F[redacted] myself. He did agree to pay back $3500 of the money owed to me not to save his supposed good name but because I was scammed. As far as my grammar and being embarrased he should be ashamed as well as his son, wife, son's wife, and everyone else involved with this family that he has a grown son that he allows to run around ripping people off while he has no actual real employment and still lives in his father's basement. If his son had any ambition he wouldn't as well as his father have found himself in this situation. I'll take my "bad and embarrassing" grammar. I pay my own mortgage and I don't steal or rip people off. I can provide documentation and receipts as proof of everything stated in this complaint. There was no extra garbage. This has been the biggest mistake of my life. This company doesn't keep their word obviously because after even agreeing to pay me $3500 after six months I was given nothing. If the dumpster was absolutely needed they could've decided they were unable to move forward until they were able to have accommodations for the dumpster. That's a poor excuse, one of many poor excuses for their deplorable behavior. After careful research alot of the business practices were illegal like not having their license number on documentation provided to me. The cost of trash was also outlined in the documents. Where is the amendment or signed paperwork for the extra garbage. When dealing with thousands of dollars we aren't being friends. I hired a company, MountTrial Construction. Now because of their actions they're trying to cover things up but documentation speaks not word of mouth. I haven't received a quarter of the work that was supposed to be completed I have receipts and also checks that were cashed and signed paperwork from the parties I had to pay out of my pocket to complete the work. I'm owed exactly what I'm requesting and nothing less. This company should truly be fined or band from continuing to conduct business in my opinion. [redacted], In response to the conversation that you had with [redacted] we respond as follows: You stated that she claimed that items #1,2,3,5,8 were all completed which is part of the truth. This project was started to resolve damage from a leaky roof. We understand that the major complaint was the delays of this project which caused by both [redacted] and the reality faced by workers on this project. The request for a full refund after workers on this project removed damaged structural elements and replaced them with new functional elements that you state she describes as completed is not fair and doesn’t make sense. Further, we have evidence of the completion of items #1,2,3,5 but also the window sills not trim for item #6 (which would be part of finishing), and we also agree with Item #8. This work alone totals $5,375 worth of work plus required extra time and materials that has actually been completed. To accomplish these tasks all required materials were purchased including: Sheet rook materials, insulation (even though she upgraded the quality), windows sills, metal studs, and all related materials with had delivery charges. Specifically, there was extra work that was added as follows 1. Second floor repair of water damage to wall & ceiling in bedroom caused by another contractor. 2. Failed work by her plumber – Caused removal and re-installation of a wall. 3. Failure to move existing furniture and rubbish – Caused delay and we had to pay for moving expenses. 4. Additional sound proofing installation completed with additional labor. 5. Garbage removal costs were more than doubled due to multiple trips for loading and dumping construction debris. 6. Plumbing work required was additional to move pipe discovered when moving closet. 7. A variety of changes throughout the project that caused extra expenses. The sum of this extra work is over $3,000 and was completed as requested. This would total over $8,000 of time and expenses. However, upon her complaints we responded by agreeing to a settlement of $3,500. The purpose of this settlement was to make up for time delays caused by misunderstanding of this project between client and contractor. Good Evening [redacted], Sorry for the late response. Most of my day was spent gathering the necessary documentation requested of me by the [redacted] for my complaint against Mount Trial. Mount Trial continues to blatantly lie instead of acknowledging their wrong doing. My major complaint against this company in addition to delays is the fact that I was ripped off by them and they are completely dishonest. The only items completed per the agreement were items 1,2,3,5,and 8 in the amount of $4175. Mount Trial was to provide material. There was no dlivery charges discussed or on my documentation provided by them. I had to buy materials because after giving the company 50% down I was told by Mount Trial that there was no money to buy the additional material for my job. Which brings me to the next lie told by Mount Trial. I didn't hire or start any project with Mount Trial to resolve damage from a leaky roof. They were hired to do the work outlined in the documentation provided. A matter of fact my home was upgraded with new roofing, waterproofing, and stucco of the entire top half of my home in 2013 by a licensed and insured company. The work is still under warranty. There is no structural damage to my home I wanted to upgrade and have more use of the space. Once again I'd like to point out that Mount- Trial didn't pay the electrician, finisher/ taper, or carpenter (the carpenter did all sheetrock, insulation,any framing work) I did out of my own pocket. The fact that the company wasn't paying these workers who it turns out are not actually employed by Mount Trial was the reason for the delays. I've asked that Mount Trial provide receipts for items purchased for my project as well as documentation (anything agreed and signed off by both of us) and I'm yet to see anything. All that's being displayed is a lot of talk and smoke and mirrors. I'll go through each itemized lie told by Mount Trial below... (Item #1) Mount Trial has never worked in any bedroom in my home on the second floor or any other floor. There's never been a leak in any ceiling in any bedroom of my home. There was a small leak t the bottom of the window in my master bedroom. That window was installed by the company that installed new roofing, waterproofing, and stucco to the entire top portion of my home in 2013. They repaired the leak at no additional cost because the work is still under warranty. I can provide a notarized letter from the owner of the company to prove the repair was done by them. I can also provide the company's name and phone number if Revdex.com would like to speak with them. (Item # 2 and #6) During the demolition of the first floor of my home upon removing a closet a water pipe was discovered. The water pipe was located from floor to ceiling and about 5 to 6 inches away from the living room wall. I asked Mount Trial to move the pipe so that it would be recessed behind the wall, making the wall completely flush. This was discussed in great detail, because I wanted to hang a flat screen tv on the wall. I was told by Mount Trial they would need their plumber to assess the situation and get back to me. I expressed to Mount Trial that unless the water pipe could be recessed behind the wall making the wall completely flush the pipe is NOT to be moved. After their plumber assessed the job I was told what I requested would be done but that isn't what happened. Their plumber moved the pipe about 2 inches away from the wall so it was still protruding defeating the purpose entirely. I was then told a box would have to be built around the pipe. I communicated to Mount Trial that this was unacceptable. I told the company they could have their plumber come back and do what I requested from the beginning or I could find a licensed plumber to do the job properly myself. I was told by Mount Trial to get my own plumber which I did. He moved the pipe to the recessed position so that it would be behind the wall. I can provide the receipt for payment for the work. (Item #3) My furniture has always been in my home. There was no discussion of furniture removal. I was told that my items would be neatly covered. I've provided a couple pictures of my expensive Italian leather furniture to show how Mount Trial treated my things as well as the countertop in my kitchen. If furniture were an issue this should've been discussed prior to the start of the job or there should be some documentation that was signed off by both parties alerting me to the risk. The job could've been postponed if my furniture needed to be removed or if I didn't agree the job could've been cancelled before it was even started.These are just another example of Mount Trials lies in order to cover up their bad practices and the fact that they tok advantage of me because I'm a single woman. (Item #4) I purchased ALL the insulation for my project. I can provide receipts. I purchased 13 of the soundboard, 9 were used in my home. I was told by Lloyd F[redacted] of Mount Trial that he would take the 4 unused soundboard back to [redacted] in order to exchange it for more sheetrock. I've never seen a receipt for the exchange or any additional sheet rock in my home. I asked several times for the receipt for my records and was told it would be provided but still never received it. Each soundboard cost $26.65 plus tax. Once again I paid the carpenter Mount Trial did not. (Item#5) I am the homeowner a price was given to me for garbage and I paid per our agreement. I was told there would be a dumpster. If due to unforeseen obstacles a dumpster couldn't be provided and that was an issue for the business the job could've been postponed or cancelled. I'm not responsible for how the garbage is discarded. (item#7) There were no changes to the project. I've asked multiple times for Mount Trial to provide documentation for their claims. Where are the adjustments to the documentation to support their claims? It can't be provided because their is none. Once again blatant lies and a poor attempt by these scam artist to rip me off. I'd like to thank the Revdex.com and [redacted] for all that you've done to help in this matter but Mount Trial has proven to be extremely untrustworthy with several unethical business practices. This has been proven by the examples above as well as by the notarized letter provided to me stating that they would pay me $3500 by 6/*/15 for which they paid nothing and at that time I was taking a huge loss accepting that. I will continue to move forward through every avaiilble channel including but not limited to [redacted], social media, and television until I am paid what I'm owed. As stated previously I will not let this disgrace of a company rip me off of my hard earned money and if I can prevent one person from going through this same ordeal with them it will be well worth it.
