they threatened to send me to collections for past due payment even after they kept sending me an incorrect bill.
After cancelling alarm service, I was told I would receive a pro-rata bill for cancelling during a current billing period. I was fine with that and wiated for them to send me a bill for the correct amount. MountainAlarm had purchased Rocky Mtn Alarm whom I had service with. They apologized many times for not sending me a bill citing "growing pains". (one such person who dropped the ball was [redacted] who had me fax my cancellation request 3 separate times) On May 20, they finally sent me a bill showing the correct amount due and at the bottom of the invoice it read over 60 days due. We were out of town for a long memeorial day vacation and returned home to listem to a voicemail threatening to send us to collections. I called the main HQ in Ogden,Utah and spoke with [redacted]. I explained the situation and I agree that I was quite rude and upset about being sent to collection when I had only recieved a correct invoice 2 weeks prior, she simply told me to make a payment immediately and if I had issues with that I should call the Denver office - even though the invoice came from Utah. The Denver office was kinder and apologized again and mentioned they would tell the Utah office to "back off". Her name was [redacted] and she was the only person I had talked to during this process who had any sense of understanding and customer service skills. I made a paymmnet, but I want to be sure that no collection agency was contacted. I also want to point out that a company who proudly applies the Revdex.com symbol to its stationary be a little more organized and compassionate about soemone being worried about being sent to a collection agency. they are obviuosly over -burdened with expanding their company
