I am writing you in reference to the stain job you did on our house in Blue Ridge using Sherwin Williams Waterborne Semi-Solid Super Deck. The job you did as a contractor was outstanding. You power washed the house using the Sherwin Williams Super Deck Cleaning and Restoring Product and scrubbed it from top to bottom cleaning off all loose and dead paint. You then applied the Sherwin William's product in a brown color. The flat surface deck over this past year got a film of mold and mildew on it. We called you and you immediately came out, test cleaned a spot to show that it was a surface mold and then we elected to contact Sherwin Williams as product failure for this job and this product and got no response from them. You came back and power washed and cleaned the deck at no charge. We then elected to go back over it with a different product from Behr Premium Semi Transparent Stain with a 6 year warranty from Home Depot. This covered the deck nicely and stopped the mildew and mold problem immediately on the very same deck that had green patches all over it. Mr. [redacted] did this for us at no charge. I insisted on giving him $200 and paying for the material. I want to go on record letting the general public know what a fine businessman that stands behind his work regardless if it's his fault or product failure.
