Review: I ordered a replica 1/8" scale of an SD40-2 locomotive from [redacted] at Mountain Car company. The order was placed August 30th 2013, order number [redacted] and a deposit of $4307 was made by credit card. When the order was made, I was promised a delivery of Spring 2014! Which was later promised to be no later than June 2014, then Mid July 2014 and the final email ever received from [redacted] (9-24-2014) a delivery promise of before end of year was made. I have since tried calling and sent weekly emails asking for the status. My final email gave [redacted] three options. Deliver my order by end of January (which has pasted), refund my $4307 or let me choose easy kits that are in stock up to the value of $4307.

AT this point I no longer know what to due. I feel I have been duped of my $4307 and [redacted] feels he doesn't need to deliver because I live in another state.Desired Settlement: Refund my $4307 or let me choose from in stock easy kits up to the value of $4307.

I apologize for the delayed response. I have been out of the office. We are currently building Mr. [redacted]'s order and are behind on the delivery date. I did let him know in December, that we were looking at a January 2014 delivery date. We will be shipping his cars and the majority of his order within the next few weeks. His Locomotive will follow in February. Due to the cold weather we have been unable to paint , which has put us further behind schedule. I will contact Mr. [redacted] to update him on his order and delivery dates.

We want to make another complaint because the company MCC (Mountain Car Company) have not yet send us our second order regarding to our first complaint. Review: I purchased a product from Mountain Car Company in November 2011. The product was to be made and completed by Spring of 2011. I have paid $13,000.00 towards a $16,500.00 product that I have not yet received. I continuously make attempts to contact by phone and email the owner of the company, Jim Humphrey. I have not yet received the product nor have I been given a completion date for the product.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be to recieve the product I have ordered from Mountain Car Company. If the product is not available, I would expect a full refund.

I spoke to an emplyee of Mountain Car Company in mid August named [redacted]. I can never reach the owner of the company, Jim Humphrey. [redacted] advised me she is helping Jim to increase productivity and complete back orders including mine. She advised me my original order, that I had ordered on November 11, 2010, is no where near being completed. I requested to change my order to a "GP30 Train Engine". She told me, she would be able to change the order, and could deliver it to me by the second week of October 2013. She was also suppose to mail me a new invoice indicating the order change. I spoke to her on October 2, 2013, to enquire on the status of the Train. She told me, she would have to ask Jim, and would return my call the following day. She did not call me the following day. I have been calling her several times a day since I have last spoke to her, and leaving my name and number. No one has returned my phone calls. I was promised the order change would be ready and delivered this week, and if there was to be any delay, I would be notified. Currently I have paid $13,000.00 to Mountain Car Company. The remaining balanced owed to them is $500.00 plus shipping. Please help me in anyway that you can. This business has taken advantage, and all I want is the product that I ordered. Hello Mrs. [redacted], As to my knowledge and continued communication with our customer [redacted], I was under the impression that this has been resolved. We are slightly behind on the delivery date , however I thought that had been explained to him. We recently changed his order and agreed to build a completely different Locomotive Unit for him, Which we are happy to do. This process does take time and there can be delays when material delivery run behind, employees are out sick etc. We are small company, build a very unique product and do our best to meet our delivery dates, however sometimes as I said we do get behind. I have sent Mr. [redacted] many emails , text messages and phone calls. His order will be completed in the very near future. We value him as a friend and a customer ,so I am very concerned and confused as to why this claim has been reopened. I am happy to help in anyway to resolve this. Thank you for your time. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact them, but I have been unsuccessful. My original order made on November 10, 2010 was never completed. I changed my order in August of 2013 for a different product to be finished and delivered in mid- October 2013. That order also was not met. I was told it would be ready, and if there were any problems with completing it on time, I would be contacted, but I never was. I'm currenlty seeking legal councel through [redacted] for assistance. My attorney's name is [redacted], ###-###-####. I wish this issue could be resolved without me seeking legal councel, or going through Revdex.com, but I need help with this issue. He is very happy with the resolution and has agreed that he will not seek legal councel and we will move forward with his order. We would like this complaint closed as it is resolved. Review: In April of 2014, I entered into a sales order # [redacted] for a 1/8th scale locomotive from this company. I gave down pay ment plus one for expiditing order as per owner Jim Humprey. Delievery dates from MCC have come and gone, I still do not have their product. Phone calls and e-mails are not returned. I have asked for my money back but have received no answer.Desired Settlement: I want my money back as I do not have confidence that this company will honor its sales agreement.

Review: I ordered a miniature Locomotive & parts from Jim Humphrey of Mountain Car Company by email from Australia on the 30th August 2011. To date I have had no confirmed date of completion or shipping, despite many phone calls & emails.

After the initial order I increased the order with more parts and have transferred to amount of $14,000 Us funds to their account.

It is now 3 years without any resolve.

I am requesting a full refund or a confirmation date as to when the order will be ready for shipping to Australia.
