I am very offended by an employee with Mountain Laurel Cabin RentalsI had been in contact with a woman by the name of *** *** Previously the company had been very understanding when I needed to reschedule or when they needed to change us to another company due to the one we rented being taken off their listingIn October, my Grandfather passed away and we rescheduled our tripMy other Grandfather passed away early this morning and *** *** had the nerve to tell me I advised them in October of my Grandfather's passingI was very INSULTEDShe tried to call me a liarShe not once gave her condolences, showed any empathy, nor apologized for my family's lossShe was very cruelI will NEVER book with them again, nor will I recommend anyone thereI have booked with them so many times before and have stayed even more times, but we will NEVER go through Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals againThey can keep my amount I paid as a down paymentI am done with this companyGood luck to everyone else

So very displeased with Mountain Laurel Cabin RentalsThis is my review: We are locals to Blue Ridge, we always have used Mtn Laurel for our getaway with friendsWe are very displeased with this stay, it will be our last with this companyWhen we arrived, we found rat feces in the kitchen drawers, we had to wash all the dishes before we used themBut the main thing is, we all have a horrible itchy rash from the hot tubThere were no hot tub chemicals to be found, no bromine tablets in the floaterAfter an expensive drvisit, and a round of antibiotics it was determined it came from the hot tubI contacted the office for a refund or reimbursement for the drvisitI was told there would be neither, because of a water banSo I have a horrible rash, and nothing to show for itOur weekend was ruinedI have documented photos and a drwrite up about the rashDrprognosis was, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, aka: Spa Pool FolliculitisThey used a water ban as an excuse for no refund, I checked with our local water authority in Fannin County, there is no ban on emptying and refilling of hot tubsI have called numerous times, to be put on hold, and never a phone call back
