Thank you for your recent E-Mail regarding an issue raised by Ms [redacted] As a company we strive for excellent customer service and do our very best to resolve any issues that are raised by our customers to the best of our abilityWe acknowledge the fact that a candle stick was broken in Ms [redacted] home when our employees were there to cleanI should however make it very clear that the breakage was NOT the result of our employees having actually touched the candle stick or doing anything to the candle stick that would have caused it to fall and break, but because the candlestick was not properly secured to the wallI spoke to my employees about the incident and my employees were in fact in another room working when they heard something fall to the floor in the bathroom and when they went to the bathroom to see what had happened they found the candlestick on the floor brokenIt had apparently not been properly secured to the wall and it happened to fall and break when our employees were in Ms [redacted] homeUnder those circumstances we would not take responsibility for this sort of thingA customer cannot blame us if the item is not properly secured to the wall and happens to fall and break while we are in their homeI nevertheless did inform Ms [redacted] if she could find a similar item and purchased it in the interests of good customer service we would be willing to pay for the replacement itemWe have never received a receipt form Ms [redacted] for a replacement item and we assumed that she had just dropped the issueShe states that she sent me a link for as similar item that she found on [redacted] but we have no record of having received this link from Ms [redacted] I am sure if she checks her phone and e-mail she can verify that she never actually sent us the link that she claims she did unless she texted the link to our land line which is unable to receive text messagesHowever, since Ms [redacted] desired resolution is a check for $we will in the interests of good customer service mail her a check for the $she requests to resolve her concerns.Sincerely, [redacted] , PresidentMountain Maids of Colorado
