This shipper had a little more goods than would fit on our largest truckWe took the remainder on a pitruck and got all her goods to her homeWhen we arrived she had a house full of workmen We could not place all her furniture because they were still working in the home We placed everything where she told usAll of our local work is by the hourWe estimated it would cost $but because of the delays with the other workmen and the weather it went over in timeso the cost increasedAs for the sofa we do not know if the other workmen scratched it or what happned She wanted to hire some of our men on the side to come back and re-arrange her stuff as a side job, I donot think that happned now she is mad because she was breaking the rules and it did not workEverything was spelled out in the contract and she did not abide by itWe will handle all claims according to the contract. She said she could not be at the house during the week and our adjuster only works Monday thru friday

When the destroyed furniture was discovered in the vaults, prior to being removed from the truck, the employees assured us the furniture would be repaired or replaced (according the coverage)This would seem to indicate that either their employees are at best not aware of the company's policies or at worse just deceptive. After our furniture was unloaded and prior to the movers leaving, I spoke with their supervisor on the phone and was told to call the office to arrange for their complaints department to look at the damaged/destroyed furnitureWe called the office twice and were told both times by the company's employees that the complaints department would contact us, which they still have not doneIt again seems that either the company's employees are unaware of their own policies or are being deceptive as not one of these employees advised us that we would have to additionally provide a separate written complaintWe did however note on the company's own documents for tracking the furniture, the items which were damaged and/or destroyedSo they do have a written record of the damaged/destroyed items on file.I have attached pictures of of the plastic bins that were used for the moveBoth show signs of being crushed as the sides are obviously bowed out and were not in that condition when they left our propertyThere were several cardboard boxes that showed signs of the same crushing damageThis damage would seem to indicate that it is the moving company who did not pack appropriately when the items were moved into their storage vaultsBlaming customer packing and bubble wrap for this type of damage is just plain silly. We are aware of the level of coverage, but again have received no response from the claims department

This customer has been difficult from the startFirst she did not have a credit card, as required, and the salesman authorized a personal checkYes she had more to ship than was estimated and we were fortunate enough to have a pitruck so we did not have to make a second tripThis customer had workmen scheduled on the same day as her move which added stress to the move and extra timeBecause the workmen were not finished we left furniture still wrapped up in our padsThis customer was making deals with the employees of Mountain Moving to come back on SundayOur office is not open on SundaysUnless it is an emergency we do not work on SundaysThe person who made the side deal with her left for California on Saturday nightThis persons sofa was placed next to a wall and the damage was not noted till someone else moved itWe do not know if that person damaged the sofa of if another worker moved it but the damage was not noted till well after our men had leftThis customer has threatened our company with bad reports on the internet and court actionWe have a "Terms and Conditions" contract that we have signed on every move, this person signed that contractWe followed the letter of the contract and made allowances for this person and now we get threatsThe pictures(of the sofa) do not look like tears but scratches the insurance that was in place does not cover this damage 3.there were other workmen on the job 4.she tried to hire the men to work under the table she threatened the company with law suites and negative posts all over the internet I have nothing to offer this customer

The customer received our standard contract and order for serviceIn this contract is the terms and conditions for their moveIt states that "particle board" furniture is not covered because of it's constructionIt is not made to be transported assembledAs a result it will fall apart with just
a little handlingThe contract also states that all claims must be submitted, in writing, widays of the finished move, that was not doneThe customer also complained about crushed boxesMany people "think" they know how to pack and they go to great lengths to do so and wind up hurting more than helping the processfyi This customer used bubble wrap for some itemstoday the temp will go from 60'fto 94'fand that bubble is going to contract then stretch to its' limits and anything wrapped in it will get moved around at the least and broken at the bestFinally, our accepted liability is .60$ per poundIf that chest and bookcase weighed pounds we would be responsible for $if it was totally destroyedYes, additional liability is availableat an additional chargeAll of this information is on file, the customer signed all of the paperwork at leas twice and if the Revdex.com or the customer would like a copy we would be glad to send it to you

This shipper had a little more goods than would fit on our largest truck. We took the remainder on a pick-up truck and got all her goods to her home. When we arrived she had a house full of workmen . We could not place all her furniture because they were still working in the home....

We placed everything where she told us. All of our local work is by the hour. We estimated it would cost $900 but because of the delays with the other workmen and the weather it went over in time... so the cost increased. As for the sofa we do not know if the other workmen scratched it or what happned . She wanted to hire some of our men on the side to come back and re-arrange her stuff as a side job, I donot think that happned now she is mad because she was breaking the rules and it did not work. Everything was spelled out in the contract and she did not abide by it. We will handle all claims according to the contract. She said she could not be at the house during the week and our adjuster only works Monday thru friday.

When the destroyed furniture was discovered in the vaults, prior to being removed from the truck, the employees assured us the furniture would be repaired or replaced (according the coverage). This would seem to indicate that either their employees are at best not aware of the company's policies or at worse just deceptive. After our furniture was unloaded and prior to the movers leaving, I spoke with their supervisor on the phone and was told to call the office to arrange for their complaints department to look at the damaged/destroyed furniture. We called the office twice and were told both times by the company's employees that the complaints department would contact us, which they still have not done. It again seems that either the company's employees are unaware of their own policies or are being deceptive as not one of these employees advised us that we would have to additionally provide a separate written complaint. We did however note on the company's own documents for tracking the furniture, the items which were damaged and/or destroyed. So they do have a written record of the damaged/destroyed items on file.I have attached pictures of 2 of the plastic bins that were used for the move. Both show signs of being crushed as the sides are obviously bowed out and were not in that condition when they left our property. There were several cardboard boxes that showed signs of the same crushing damage. This damage would seem to indicate that it is the moving company who did not pack appropriately when the items were moved into their storage vaults. Blaming customer packing and bubble wrap for this type of damage is just plain silly. We are aware of the level of coverage, but again have received no response from the claims department.

This customer has been difficult from the start. First she did not have a credit card, as required, and the salesman authorized a personal check. Yes she had more to ship than was estimated and we were fortunate enough to have a pick-up truck so we did not have to make a second trip. This customer had workmen scheduled on the same day as her move which added stress to the move and extra time. Because the workmen were not finished we left furniture still wrapped up in our pads. This customer was making deals with the employees of Mountain Moving to come back on Sunday. Our office is not open on Sundays. Unless it is an emergency we do not work on Sundays. The person who made the side deal with her left for California on Saturday night.
This persons sofa was placed next to a wall and the damage was not noted till someone else moved it. We do not know if that person damaged the sofa of if another worker moved it but the damage was not noted till well after our men had left.
This customer has threatened our company with bad reports on the internet and court action. We have a "Terms and Conditions" contract that we have signed on every move, this person signed that contract. We followed the letter of the contract and made allowances for this person and now we get threats.
1. The pictures(of the sofa) do not look like tears but scratches 2. the insurance that was in place does not cover this damage 3.there were other workmen on the job 4.she tried to hire the men to work under the table 5. she threatened the company with law suites and negative posts all over the internet.    I have nothing to offer this customer.

The couch was put in the corner my workers were not by it. I noticed it right after they left and took pictures and called. As for the move taking longer they did not show up at my house for a while then refused to move my stuff in until all the workers left. I told my workers to leave. As for there guys they offered to come back and move my furniture in place after the flooring was done in my office for a fee of course. I called from another phone because they ignore me and the claims guy said they pay .60 on the pound and my couch is worth $300 and there is a $500 deductible so I get nothing. That's ridiculous. They are responsible for any damage to my stuff. They said my stuff would fit on the truck and it didn't. That is very unprofessional.
