I called Dr*** office for additional information since she has two students with us and I was unsure which student was involved in this complaint. After leaving a message, I spoke with Erica, Dr*** assistant, about the situation regarding student whose initials are
LW. At the time the student enrolled on April 25, 2017, we sent the student study materials for our Psychology course. We did this because the student indicated he had earned previous credit from *** Christian Academy (CCA). On three occasions--May 2, May and July 6--we requested a transcript from CCA but did not receive a reply. On August we made a fourth request to CCA and received a transcript shortly thereafter. Although Dr*** paid in full for LW's courses, it is our policy not to send all courses while there is a pending transcript evaluation. We only send Psychology because it is a required subject for us but not a required subject at most other schools. Similarly, we do not send core subjects like Algebra 1, Biology or Writing because we don't want students to work on courses they may have already completed. In our most recent letter to Dr***, we included the results of the transcript evaluation and included the total number of credits LW would need to complete with us to earn our diploma as well as the additional cost that would be entailed. To date we have not received a reply, but we are willing to send the additional subjects in LW's current program after we receive approval from Dr***. Thank you.
