Rejection LetterOn 02/08/16  I was involved in a car accident. Mt. States Wrecker was called to the scene without my knowledge, request, nor was I notified by Los Lunas Police Department. In response to the statement made by Mt States Wrecker Svc., Inc. I would like start by saying I dispute their account of the incident and give my account.At no time on 02/08/16 did I request the services of Mr. States Wrecker Svc. Inc. At the time of the accident I was not completely aware of the protocol or processes of LLPD. It was a shock to me that after Mt States Svcs, Inc. asked me for payment in the amount of $189.55 for separating the vehicles (that did not need his services to be separated). I said can you bill me? He said “no”, I will tow your vehicle” I then asked him if I could go to the bank again, he said “No, I will tow your vehicle. He then said he would take a credit card. I looked in my wallet and told him I only have $140.00 in my wallet. He walked away and came back a few minutes later and said “I’ll take the $140.00 and he would give me one hour to pay the remaining balance at his office. I agreed and reported to his office to pay the balance. I have reached out to the Revdex.com because I feel that it is unfair for consumers to be provided unauthorized services for which they are financially responsible. During the entire interaction with Mt States Wrecker Service, Inc. I found the driver to be disrespectful, aggressive, and feel as though he took advantage of my situation and the fact that I was suffering from post traumatic stress following this accident. VEHICLE WAS STUCK UNDER A LIFTED TRUCK. THE CALL WAS MADE BY LOCAL POLICE DEPT. STATING THAT THE COMPLAINTANT WAS REQUESTING A TOW TRUCK. WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE SCENE THE CAR WAS WEDGED UNDER THE TRUCK, IN ORDER TO NOT DO MORE DAMAGE TO THE COMPLAINTANTS VEHICLE. WE MADE THE DECISION TO LIFT UP THE TRUCK OFF THE CAR FIRST. THE CAR WAS THOUGHT TO HAVE SERVE DAMAGE. WHEN WE LIFTED THE TRUCK THE OWNER OF THE CAR (COMPLAINTANT) NOTICED IT COULD BE DRIVEN, NOT NEEDING TO BE TOWED AS FIRST THOUGHT. SO THE DRIVER (COMPLAINTANT) OF THE CAR STATED HE WAS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR OUR SERVICES HE REQUESTED. WHICH CAME TO THE AMOUNT OF $189.55. I THAN PROCEEDED TO TELL HIM IT WAS COMPANY POLICY NOT TO RELEASE A VEHICLE WITH OUT PAYMENT. THE COMPLAINTANT THAN STATED HE DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY AND THAT WE ALSO DIDN'T TOUCH HIS VEHICLE. IT WAS HIS VEHICLE WE WERE CONTACTED TO TOW, SO I STATED I WOULD TOW HIS VEHICLE TO OUR YARD UNTIL HE PAID FOR OUR SERVICES. HE THAN PRODUCED $140.00. I THAN TOLD HIM THAT HE COULD PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE AT A LATER TIME AT OUR OFFICE AND ALLOWED HIM TO TAKE HIS VEHICLE. HE THAN CAME AND PAID THE REMAINING BALANCE. THERE WAS NO WAY OF HOOKING UP OR WINCHING OUT HIS VEHICLE FIRST FROM UNDER NEATH THE TRUCK WITH OUT DOING MORE DAMAGE TO EITHER VEHICLE. HE WANTED US TO JUST PULL HIS VEHICLE OUT FROM UNDER THE TRUCK WHICH WOULD HAVE DONE MORE DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES. WE TRY TO SEPARATE THE VEHICLES FROM ANY CRASH WITHOUT DOING ANY MORE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLES INVOVLED.
