My husband and I have been loyal repeat guests since at Mountain Top Inn and Resort, Warm Springs, GA Recently we lost one of the door keys before we checked out We had to pay $for the lost key and they told us if we found it, to mail it to them and they would refund our money As soon as we got home we found the key, it had slipped out of my husband's hand and into a hole in the top of the suitcase He mailed the key back, but we never received our refund We stayed with them again recently and the young man that check my husband in told him they did receive the key and we would be refunded at checkout This did not happen There was a lady at the desk when we checked out I explained what happened to her and she said would check with the Manager She left the room to ask the manager and came back with the question "Did you mail it with a return receipt?" My husband said no, you didn't tell me I had to mail it registered mail with return receipt, but the young man at the desk told me you received it She smarted off, he shouldn't have told you that They did not refund our money for the lost key Needless to say, they lost a regular repeat customer who visits their establishment at least twice a year I lost all trust in them, their word is NO GOOD! It's not about the money, I lost in the establishmentWe will no longer be staying with Mountain Top Inn & Resort when we visit Warm Springs and Pine Mountain
