Mountain Transmission Center Reviews (1)

11/5/2015:
Maria M***, the principal of DMT Center, LLC, which is the owner of Mountain Transmission Center, has requested that I respond for her to your letter of October 28, in which you sent them the complaint filed by *** *** of Nucla, Colorado. MrsM*** is
married to *** M***, who operated Mountain Transmission in Montrose, Colorado, the business that is the subject of Mr*** complaint. MrM*** closed that business and moved to Utah in the Spring of 2015. He operated a similar business in Utah for several months, and sold it to his business partner, Jacob A***, during the summer of and moved to Idaho, intending to retire. His wife, Maria, decided that she wanted to open a business in Idaho, and persuaded *** to manage if for her and teach her the trade. She opened the business known as Mountain Transmission Center in Burley, Idaho on October 1, 2015. The purpose of this introduction is to establish that Mountain Transmission Center, its owner DMT Center, LLC and the principal of the LLC, Maria M***, have no legal connection to the company that is the subject of Mr*** complaint. *** M***, who is an employee of Mountain Transmission Center, was the operator of the business in Montrose and did, in fact, repair Mr*** transmission
*** M*** disputes the allegations made by Mr***. He did rebuild Mr*** transmission, which was in a Ford pickup, in January 2014, delivering the truck to Mr*** on February 3, 2014. Contrary to Mr*** statement that they did very little to the transmission and only replaced two $parts, *** M*** has provided me with a copy of the invoice for parts that they replaced in the transmission. The invoice, at wholesale prices, totals $929.50. A copy is attached
Mr*** brought the pickup back to MrM*** in late July, and MrM*** repaired it and delivered it to him on August 1, 2014. MrM*** determined, after inspecting it, that it had been abused by hauling loads far beyond its capacity. MrM*** advised Mr*** that he was abusing the truck and that he would repair it that time, but to stop overloading it because he would not repair it again. Mr*** violated the terms of any warranty by his abuse of the vehicle. MrM*** operated the business in Montrose until the Spring of 2015. Mr*** did not return the vehicle or contact MrM*** again until recently, when he has made threatening phone calls to Jacob A*** in Utah and made defamatory statements to others

I do have one correction to make in my first email. I stated in that email that the store in Utah was a partnership between *** M***, Srand Jacob A*** and that MrM*** sold his interest to MrA***. MrM*** has informed me that he had no ownership interest in the store in Utah. It was opened by Jacob A*** and MrM*** was merely helping him get it started. Also, I told you in the first email that I had attached a copy of a parts invoice for the repair parts used to repair Mr*** pickup. I believe that I failed to attach that invoice, so it is attached to this email. I apologize for the error.
