I am completely dissatisfied with this company They serviced our septic, and in the process the lid collapsedThey left the exposed septic! They indicated that they would return the following day, which they didn'tFortunately my husband had a board that could partially cover itThis occurred on a Wednesday, they did not answer or respond to the phone calls until the following Monday! They claim they will return Tuesday with a riser, we'll see! This lack of concern, and the potential liability is hard to believe that the Revdex.com rating is an 'A'I would give them an 'F'!

I am completely dissatisfied with this company. They serviced our septic, and in the process the lid collapsed. They left the exposed septic! They indicated that they would return the following day, which they didn't. Fortunately my husband had a board that could partially cover it. The Mountain Valley Septic Service gave an estimate for service for our ranch in Modesto for $535. When they completed the work they did not install the bi-directional clean-out with Christie box as was agreed but instead installed an single direction clean out with an above ground pipe. They then billed us for $885. This is $350 more than agreed on in the estimate.
When contacted about this bill by two of my brothers they refused to return calls after the initial call. After repeated calls I also called to let them know we wanted to pay our bill but wanted an explanation for the additional charges and why the clean-out was not installed as agreed. I was told a technician would call within 24 hours. The technician has never called. When I called back after not hearing from the technician, my calls all went to an answering machine. I called repeatedly leaving the message that we desired to settle our bill with them. None of my calls were returned. After 4 months of trying to resolve this issue (work was done in January, a payment was sent in April) I sent a letter with a check for the original agreed upon price reviewing our desire to pay and their history of work and lack of returned calls. I stated in my letter we would consider our bill "paid in full" and would like a receipt showing the bill is paid. I stated that "if we don't receive a statement showing the bill is paid within 10 days, I would contact the Revdex.com and report their business practices." It is now beyond the 10 days and I have received no contact from them. So I have written this review in hopes that others will avoid the challenges I and my family members have faced. And I would still like a receipt from Mountain Valley Septic Service showing that the bill is paid in full.
