MOUNTAIN VIEW APARTMENTS

I am rejecting this response because: The statement made by Mountain View apartments is not entirely accurate, they conceal the fact that the collections agency could not wait for Mountain view to remove the balance, because the collections agency kept on calling me to settle the balance so I was left responsible to pay the balance in fear that it would go as a negative mark on my credit, it is very frustrating to know that besides that Mountain View is not only lying by omitting some facts but their accountability is close to none, I would like to resolve this issue in a professional way and get a refund of my money, I am on a fixed income and every dollar counts.Thank you

Beautiful apartments and the new staff is very professional and helpfulI have lived here since the apartments opened and they are very well maintained

I, *** ***, the Property Manager at Mountain View apartments spoke with Mr*** when he called my office about this issueYes I did tell him that it is a balance that is dueAfter I spoke
with ***, I called my supervisor and told them what was happeningI then got the okay to remove his balance and contact *** to remove the balance from them as wellI then called Mr*** back and told him we would take care of the situationHe told me that he had already paid *** the amount dueI asked if he can call them back and cancel the request to payHe then called me back letting me know that he spoke with *** and they were able to cancel the payment he requestedHe currently has a $balance with us and was removed from collections with ***.

After I spoke with [redacted], I called my supervisor and told them what was happening. I then got the okay to remove...

Recently applied to this fine establishment.
We had an issue we were worried would cause our denial, but they told us that it wouldn't be a problem, Great !
Well... $90 in application fees and a wasted day securing documents later...we were denied ! One call (and 15 minutes on hold) with the company who ran the check confirmed that it was indeed THAT issue that caused our denial (they actually told me how great everything else looked), and that it was MOUNTAIN VIEW APARTMENTS own choice to deny because of this issue.
Mountain View refused to work with us after this point. (keeping our $90, obviously !)
I'm not prepared to say that they intentionally lied to us or that they are criminals, but at best the two (seemingly) nice ladies working in the office are inept at their jobs...at worst they intentionally spam craigslist with ads pulling in people to take their applications fees. Anecdotally speaking...in my hour or so spent in their office I witnessed at least 3 other people in there asking why they were denied...appears to be a common occurrence.
Bozeman's a tough town to find affordable rentals, particularly if you have pets...and these people know it.

Oh! by the way, something they don't tell you in their "pet friendly" ad's
$400 NON-refundable fee for pets.
and $150 lease initiation fee... it costs $150 to print off some paper and sign it !
